18 August 2019, Madgaon-Ratnagiri section, India.
Volume 12 of this series is here, and this time it caters to LHB lovers. We did two trips on the Mandovi Express just after it was upgraded to LHB in 2019 - Madgaon to Ratnagiri and then Ratnagiri to Mumbai a few days later. This is the Madgaon to Ratnagiri leg, and I tried to record as much as I could with the limited memory I had since this was supposed to be a 10-day trip. The next part will be up in the next few weeks as I try to make time and work on the videos.

I record audio on an H1n mic with a deadcat wind filter, and video on GoPro and sync them during editing.
How did you manage to eliminate the windblast on Go pro footage ?
I record audio separately on a Zoom H1n that has a wind filter and is placed inside the train.

I am trying to process and upload whatever videos I've got currently. For chugging etc please see my other videos. I don't get much time for these things since this is just a small hobby so please understand before asking for specific types of videos.

@@buddhadebghosh6987 it's not possible for him to travel many places. And mostly video is made for pure track sounds. Journey experience keliye unka play list check karo ache ache videos hai.
Because 1) I don't live anywhere near those two cities and it's not possible for me to travel such long distances at this time.
2) I don't travel just for the sake of these things. I record when I travel.
3) I don't do 'request' journeys, nor do I make technical full-journey videos. You may search for other channels for such content.

@@prathik3618 Too much hiss. There's a disconnect between the camera and the microphone. It's more pronounced in the beginning.
The slight hissing sound is from the fans. Obviously there'll be a little disconnect between the camera and microphone because the camera was outside the window while the microphone was just inside the window to avoid wind noise. That's an unavoidable part of the process. If I place it outside then you'll complain about the wind noise. This is the best I could do with the limitations present at the time of shooting.
