Hope Scott manages to sort himself out.. Always liked him but could see he was troubled just from the look in his eyes. Big up everyone involved in boxing 😎🥊
I've worked with addicts for years, and Hearn is right when he says that prison might well be the best place for Scott. I've lost count of the amount of alcoholics and drug addicts who've said to me, "I need to go to prison to get my life together." The pressures of having to live in the outside world are alleviated by the set-structure of being in custody. If Scott works with the prison recovery team, he might have a chance when he's released, but it's a long journey.
Think it may be the rock bottom he needs to spark that need to change. If not I worry for him
Well said.
You're totally wrong. There is a good reason why a rehab exists.
@@Karl.Leiserbach Sometimes, prison is the best rehab. Prisons have recovery teams that work with prisoners. If someone's serious about recovery, they often have more options inside than out in the community.
@Joe Stunner Boxing rehabs have recovery teams aswell, people should have put him In a strict rehab.
Remember eddie said he wouldn't work with drug cheats then follows canelo around and took benn with him haha and joshua had a exemption from testing at the Olympics
Eddie talks a lot of 💩
Alex loves a matchroom fight week 🥰🥰
It's fkin HELL IN ADDICTION
SELF INFLICTED PPL SAY
BUT WHEN IT GRABS YOUR SOUL
IT TAKES BIG BALLS TO GET OUT.
HAPPENS TO THE BEST OF MEN
Totally agree 👍. Some people who comment on IFL are addicted to making negative comments about Mr Hearn!! Imagine having such a sad lonely existence!
Undisputed vs undisputed, look what eddie can do when the other greedy promoters aint getting in the way stagnating boxing - hearn/dazn keeps boxing moving

Must of been about 16, 17. We akhailton. Right, the bounce is khalskdjdjdjdj.
Absolutely no idea what Ray is saying after about 842 listens.
😂🤣
Eddie Hearn is a Great Promoter , He’s Deeply Involved in Boxing Business!
Addiction is the hardest thing man. I pray he finds some sort of peace
Feel so sad for Scott he assaults someone out side a pub and gets locked up for it, I feel so sorry for him and wish him all the best in the future when he is released from prison
You feel sorry for the perpetrator not the victim?
@@jamiejosh96 ever heard of sarcasm
@@josephhunter1627 don’t think that’s sarcasm mate, read the whole thing. If that’s sarcasm that’s not used very well
It’s rehabilitation.
He got 4 years for punching someone. We have rapists and pedos getting far more lenient sentences.
a 6’3 lightweight lol. Just insane
He's also up for suspicion of rape. Fuck Scott if he's found guilty of that.
Is this actually true?
@@JabTasticTV It is. You can see him regularly in Preston town centre sleeping outside pubs or trying to scrap travellers in the street with no shoes on.
Doubt it
@@JabTasticTV it is true mate , just google his name and click any link you will see it
Could be just another crazy ex girlfriend. Wait until proven guilty
Biggest night in Irish boxing?
Man never heard of Barry McGuigan 😅
When was McGuigan undisputed?
What a sad story I’ve been wondering about Scott for a while, he is immensely talented and I remember his father coaching him must be such a rough time
There are old studies which say all mental problems are linked to mineral deficiency's so if your suffering try taking a multi-mineral supplement before the bottle
Hasn't worked on you
What’s happened to Anthony Fowler other than selling CBD?
I hope Eddie can overcome his battle with crack. Keep fighting Eddie!
So Eddie is an arse man. Nowt wrong with that
Huh
Crack is Whack !! Just say no
Skyes crack
I used to put on my best suit and strutt around the house shouting mcgregor quotes and then my wife told me to get a job 😅
Such a shame, he was destined for the top.
Take it from somebody who knows, jail can help massively when it comes to addiction. Fingers crossed for the kid.
First few days are absolutely horrible though, Jesus. Not something I’ll ever forget anytime soon
We nicked there gilends right the bouncers gilends
It was mad to see how Scott put his addictive personality towards the Fowler fight, he was a man possessed when he trained for that, some shape he got himself in
So sad about scott. I really hope he can come back and rebuild himself.
Hope the poor guy who had his jaw broken made a full recovery.
Remember Eddie Hearn cried crocodile tears over Patrick Day then tried to cover up Conor benn failing 2 drug tests against eubank 😵😵
“Dear Hearn I wrote you, but you still ain't callin'
I left my cell, my pager and my home phone at the bottom”
Eddie refuses to acknowledge the ringside charitable trust and you people think he gives a damn about ex fighters
Ringside Charitable Trust! It’s already set up! Help them Eddie!
So sad. Quality fighter
Love fitzy. Great fighter, great personality. Hope he can get back fighting
This is why Ed is above the other promoters. ✌️
He’s had a hair transplant but has gone subtle with it so isn’t as noticeable
Best promoter ever were are ya Ben shalom
Maybe show a bit of sympathy for the geezer who’s jaw he broke Eddy
6ft 3 weighing 135 pounds 😂
Why not?
Definitely had potential to be world champion.
No he didn't. He just about managed to scrape past Fowler. That was his best performance.
@@markbailey2417 Fuck do you know about boxing 😂 Would have easily mixed it at world level 154. Wouldn’t touch Charlo but would be a Canelo Ryder type fight he’s as tough as they came Fitzgerald
@@markbailey2417 was quite lucky to get the decision against Cheeseman too

As if this guy cares about fighters health all of a sudden. Ready to put juiced up Conor in the ring
It’s getting boring now stop repeating the same shit n get over it
@Salt for Eddie Forgot to wipe Eddie's dribble off your chin lad 😂
So sad to see Fitzy go down that road, was a fan, northwest boxing deffo taken a L here. Just pray he comes back and can overcome his personal struggles. 🙏
Kell Brook is a millionaire grown adult man with a family, what aftercare do you want Eddie to do ffs? If I went in to my job next week and asked for some aftercare I’d get laughed at, and I’m not a millionaire!
Imagine haveing confidence beating up a man you beat to pulp in sparring,
And I no scott fitz his a good lad but very psychotic when iv seen him at the pub and in town, there is so much wasted talent from addiction, addiction takes time to fix, its self medicating your self from your pain, alot of men fight out of fear yet have there own problems going on
Didn't know carl frampton is working for iFL TV
Eddie and matchroom no.1 no question, and for that reason I think he can do more to help retired boxer/boxers with struggles. You're telling me a multi-million pound company can't put a programme together for 150 or so fighters? Course he can do something, I don't think it would be that difficult, it's lazy not to. There are already some organisations that can help point people in the right direction after retirement etc. For example, LAPS, founded by ex footballer Robbie Simpson, works to show and give people opportunities after they retire from professional sport. Would be good to see boxers given more education on how they may want to continue their lives after retirement. Of course there a plenty of boxers who have gone on to live happily and successfully in their own rights, but for sure, as it is well documented, there are plenty of ex-boxers in need of some kind of support.
Ps. I think the Scott Fitzgerald case is on another level, but the I'm focusing more on the general question given to Eddie.
Obviously knows nothing about UK prison system
Lets be honest, Chan-Cam is gonna have to knock Katie out and get the nod from The Pope, just to get a draw with St. Katie.
I’ve done nearly 10 years in jail but your demons never leave you I’m 41 lifes shit
I agree with Eddie. But the amount of gambling advertising they use is horrendous.
Scott a top lad with to many dock heads around him I’ve been there , Scott get your self out of there and show us what we no CHAMP
women with broken voice should fight as trans
Not long now, Saturday can't come quick enough. 👊🇮🇪
Hope he trains his arse off in there and comes back to take on the world everyone deserves a second chance
Addictions no joke god help him ? Hope he gets the help he needs ? Fairplay till eddie
Shocker, comments off on Skye vid.
Great words from Eddie, it's such a shame where Fitzgerald has ended up but maybe he needs the shock.
hes got a rape charge i really hope he didnt do it
What was his addiction
A SKIRT??? Its a KILT ffs.
It is very unlikely that an addict "doesn't want help" it is likely that they don't know they need it or how to accept it. Maybe when he asked for help growing up it wasn't there, or he didn't get a family that let you know it was ok to accept help. Just because you didn't manage to help doesn't mean you should give up and make it someone else's problem. Keep supporting him, your legacy is greater than the boxing. Sometimes it takes years or generations to help to break the chain
Most of the time we can't get put of our own way to receive the help that people are offering us. The only way is for you accepted it and to be fully at your breaking point. Eddie is right in what he says
WWE have a wellness program and support for their superstars even though they're technically contractors. Boxing should have something like that
They do, it’s called the ringside charitable trust. Eddie refuses to acknowledge it let alone contribute. They couldn’t care less against ex pros once the money making ability has gone
"Addiction" is not just a synonym for "I am not responsible."
Absolutely clueless
Not true at all
You absolute whelk
I highly doubt he tried to help him as much as he claims but I'll actually back Hearn here.
It's not his responsibility to babysit fighters in their personal lives.
This comment makes no sense
@@teztezza2202 what are you having trouble with?
@@teztezza2202 it makes complete sense you idiot. These are grown men. Sometimes you just have to take responsibility

Feel for Scott. Eddie didn't care about him and didn't get him any fights during Covid. Similar to how Eddie handled Dave Allen. Both were poorly managed.
He got Scott a fight when Scott was way over weight during COVID.
Eddie is right, if an addict doesn't want to help themselves then they can't be helped. There's only so much you can do. Your a blatant hater and a idiot
You cant make people take help and if you know anyone with severe addiction issues you know they’ll all have had people try and help them before !
Scott been battling addiction since his teens. Didn’t half train for any of his fights.
Dave Allen is absolute crap and made enough money from Eddie to buy a few houses. He has earned more from boxing than someone of his ability or effort ever should have. How is that badly managed?
Kugan not over in Dublin? 🤥
