One of the backups stepped forward and did the last verse/chorus with Joe Cocker. It was Tina Turner! The finished the song, Joe stepped back and Tine Turner began her portion with Proud Mary. Joe Cocker was one of her backup singers for that song. The transition from a Joe Cocker concert to a Tina Turner concert was seamless. Brilliant!
