I bought an RX470 ASUS Strix 4gb for $80 and a Ryzen 3700x for $200 in January of 2021. I clearly got lucky. I think I'll keep my luck for a while. There is nothing available out there right now that can beat that level of performance per dollar.
Absolutely, the RX 470/570, 480/580 and 590 brought unparalleled price to performance. Sad to think that we'll never get such incredible cards again. They were absolutely legendary, my two mates are still rocking their 470 and I'm sitting pretty on a 580, none of us will change anytime soon.

To put it simply? If the mother is a 400 series or lower is pcie 3.0 For pcie 4.0 go for a 500 or 600 series motherboard (A520M beimg tje cheapest one,B550 etc etc etc)
Yes it will. Try to check on PC part picker for compatible GPU's on your motherboard. For example I checked on pc part picker the PRIME A320M-K and it lists the 6500 XT as compatible. What is your processor by the way?

@@abrahamrhoads Yes it can. The 6500 XT could improve your graphics settings from medium to high and more stable framerates on 1080p. Just keep in mind that you're on PCIE 3.0 with that motherboard and processor combo.

@@javier10jr Yes, i wanted to do that as well, problem is, even after 12 years, Intel is still purposefully throttling performance on lower end mobos, your H510 regardless of how good it is for a 510, WILL throttle the performance of any i5 including the 11400F you're probably looking at, if you find a way to disable tdp limit, your temps will get too high, the vrms in your H510 will get obliterated, it was made this way by design. I recommend you wait brother.

I already solved it, it is well known that this card only uses 4 PCI-E lines, so when you are using 4.0, it should be enought, but for 3.0, 4 lines isn't enought, giving that HUGE difference
@@KevinSalas182 Yes, absolutelly that's the answer. RX 6600 do better on PCIe 3.0 when compared with PCIe 4.0 because it has more lanes (8 lanes), that teoritically enough for gaming processing (refer to bandwidth).

in old systems you lower settings and you hit 45-60 fps..until you upgrade to pci 4.0
