@pedrojorge1912 I wish that scene was longer, the Dragons deserved more screen time! I know, I know they're ridiculously expensive to create & I should be thankful for what we did get. And I am 😊
this is what we want 😭 I don’t think wb/ hbo realized how expensive this show was going to be to properly adapt, heres hoping they come to their senses in season 3 & loosen those purse strings
@@urukyorashifa8962 they combined their blood with the dragons blood so they are literally dragons in human form that explains their unique looks ( silver hair and purple eyes)
I just noticed that the dragons have like nails in their necks, and that is were the ropes are tied kind of like horse reigns. It looks painful, I'm actually kinda sad that is how the dragons know where to go, I thought their connection to their riders made them capable of knowing that, and not being steered by LITERAL NAILS EMBEBED INTO THEIR NECKS.
Their scales get thick like tree bark, and it's lightly stuck into their scales, it's not actually puncturing their flesh. I felt the same way at first until someone pointed out the scale thickness
Nah, it's not like they're driven into their necks and flesh, it's just attached there on the surface of their scales. Some also wear harnesses that loop to the front, so some are merely wearing a saddle backpack. Believe me, these are giant flying flamethrowers. They are not phased by a few tiny metal joints some hairless monkeys placed on them.
its simple - the dragons just know them and trust them to some extend. they accept them being close to them, but they would never accept one as their rider, that is a very big difference.
Most of the dragons were raised and trained by the keepers from birth. The dragons tolerate them and even trust them to some extent. Some dragons are also friendlier and more social than others. Silverwing was known to be docile and calm around strangers. Then we have a dragon like Seasmoke who likely spent most of his life on Driftmark. He seems to barely tolerate the dragon keepers and isn't as quick to obey their commands like Syrax, for example, is.
AGOT and HOTD have always been about politics above else. Dragons, white walters, battles and fights are for show ; but the key of these stories are the dialogs in the small Council, not dragons fights, as cool as they may look. And the books were the same.
Just the battle between Vhagar, sunfyre and Meleys and the scene with Vermithor being claimed after killing a bunch of people, plus silverwing was better then most of the dragon scenes in season 1 alone. Although the scene with Vhagar and tyraxes at storm end was a very good scene.
@@khanofkhans6546 I will give you Rook’s Rest though it was much shorter than I expected. Other than that, season 1 is far superior. Aemond claiming Vhagar in all its glory, Daemon singing to Vermithor and his fiery response, Storms end, even the scene where Meleys and SeaSmoke arriving for the Wedding along with their fleet was good. I even enjoyed Daemon retrieving eggs in Dragonstone. Season 2 fell off in every aspect of the story.
@@bh3855 rooks rest scene was better then all of those scenes from season 1 you mentioned combined. Daemon singing to vermithor was nothing more then a sneak peek look at vermithor. It did absolutely nothing for the story at that time. Nothing happens with vermithor till the 2nd last episode of season 2. Which that scene in episode 7 of season 2 was significantly better then the daemon singing one. Aemonds claiming of vhagar was just ok at best. Nothing special. The scene in season 2 with the Dragon keepers singing to get seasmoke to come out to try to let ser darkyn try to claim him was at least as good as daemons singing scene because it at least had some point to the plot. Syrax and Rhaenyra flying to the beach to meet seasmoke and his new rider was a good scene. Rhaenyra calling vermithor out and controlling him for the scene where Hugh hammer claims him was one of the best dragon scenes in the entire series.
@@khanofkhans6546 Nothing does anything to the story dude. The story is disconnected. From scene to scene nothing connects. So that’s not a good reason to discard season 1 scenes. Also not only is the song to seasmoke copy of Daemon’s song, that scene does nothing to the story or plot either. They could have just skipped it and show us Seasmoke claiming Adam then Rhaenyra hears about it like we saw The other thing is, her face off scene is ok but you know what would have been more interesting, showing us Rhaenyra chasing him & forcing him to land. But nope as usual, she gets on her dragon off screen and then cut again to beach scene. Nothing original.
Believe me, Vhagar is waaay bigger than Drogon. It's just that most Targaryen dragons weren't massive because they were often chained or quartered. Being huge was more of an exceptions amongst those that got a lot of outside time, like Balerion, Vhagar, and Drogon.
I need the same thing for season 2 now
working on it currently, i got blocked by copyright first attempt at posting it so trying to work around it rn
I love that the series gave the dragons a unique look and personality, even each saddle has a unique design.

You can identify every one of the 15 dragons from S01 and S02 just by their roars.

In the book it's said that Driftmark looked like Valyria reborn during Laena's funeral, something like that.

Ik they are LITERALLY death machines but I see Syrax for example and I go "OMG IT'S MY BABYYYYYY SHE'S SO CUUUUUUTE"
one thing i love about Vhagar is bc she’s so old and big, you can see her arms in her wings, like bat wings
Helaena: There is a beast under the tiles.
Alicent: Tf you talking about.
Meleys: HERE IS JOHNNY!
Helaena: I told you!
Omg YES PLEASE I'm not watching ror the ppl I'm there for the dragons
You are definitely not the only one!! GOT & HOTD Dragons are the epitome of what a Dragon should be, in every way!!
God, we have a million scenes with caraxes and Syrax, but not with Dreamfуre and Sunfуre.

a whole series about dragons and the scenes in which you see them just exceed 15 minutes

I'm pretty sure the nails are actually only glued to their scales and given how much they growl the dragons probably don't feel anything.

There's some people here probably kids or teens that are watching this just for the dragons without having seen the actual show at all😂
Dany's dragon look way more realistic than these
It’s probably way easier to spend all your budget on a couple dragons than on so many at once.
