I've always sighed at players who rushed things through, talk over ADA, get themselves in unnecessary trouble right from the start, and can't seem to shut their overclocked speech generator even for one second, apparently to entertain us? I'm a bit late to the show, but I'm so glad to have found your playthrough. I will watch it with great interest :D
the first one that i found to do everything that methodical and check every option and read all texts. some people might find it boring, but i enjoy it since i played the game a few times (just started again after release of 1.0) and played in a similar way. since nobody can experience a game for the first time a second time, watching this is the next best thing. btw: there is a game option whether to hold a hotkey for running or whether that hotkey toggles running. since permanently running costs no stamina (there is no stamina stats in the game), i have it set to toggle, and defined the key as "something remote on my keyboard" (in my case "ß", the key to the right of "0") to not accidentally switch running off. now i only ever press that key once after a reload or death.
Good Satisfactory content like this is such a breath of fresh air... I'm not even one minute in and already know I'll be sticking by 'till the end. Thank you for the good video! (Dare I say, I can tell a video has quality and effort in it by the first minute of it and the amount of timestamps it has...)
Welcome to Satisfactory. In this game you can and probably will die. The end of this game is when you launch the last of the required materials in the space elevator. Take your time, while similar to Dyson Sphere Program it is a very different game. There is actually only one map that contains all the different biomes you will find as you expand your horizons. There are non hostile, hostile and even a creature you can tame here.
Taming a creature now that sounds like fun!😃 I'll update the end game to launching last required materials in the space elevator. Thank you for the tip as usual Marietta.
Love the slow detailed approach to playing. i get so tired of youtube lets play vids whizzing through the experience. Anyone new to a game just quickly gets left behind. Your approach might not suit everyone but i'm thoroughly enjoying the easy going style. Subscription well deserved. Thank you. :)
Hey Thomas, first time tuning in to watch your channel and I am absolutely blown away by how relaxing and fun it is to watch you play through and discover this game! Can't wait to see how you'll end up building your factory and what you'll think of this game I've dumped so much time in. By the way, from how you go about experiencing games, it sounds like OuterWilds (My personal favorite game of all time) would be an amazing choice for you to do a blind plathrough. Can't wait to see more of your channel!
Welcome aboard! I really appreciate your awesome comment, fihdeh. Your feedback helps me out a lot so thank you! Currently this channel is focused on Automation and Simulation but that doesn't mean I can't branch out. I let the viewers on the channel decide my next blind playthrough by posting a poll. I'll defiantly consider adding OuterWilds to the list. I did checkout the game on the Steam Store and it has amazing reviews and it looks like a lot of fun.
I adore this game! I really enjoyed your pacing and thorough reading of all instructions. it helps the audience learn along with you. There is sooo much going on in this game and everyone will appreciate the time you spent learning the basics. Look forward to more in the series!
just got satisfactory off the summer sale and have yet to start, but your approach in gaming is so similar to mine lol, your vid is def useful for when i get started 😂
First time here, your comenting feels really professional and organized! Love the commentary and how you approach games. Looking forward to watching your channel more :)
Welcome to Satisfactory, my favorite game ever! 🙂 I like your approach to the game, a slower pace is a better one here, I believe. Look forward to seeing a new pioneer exploit the planet.
Enjoyable watching someone go through this for the first time. Loved when you saw the space giraffe run past while you were in the menu hahahaha. Those things are so annoying.
8:12 that must be a bug with experimental, because in the past it's always been a relatively smooth transition for me, or maybe it's just a quirk with the grassy fields start because I haven't started in the grassy fields in forever so I don't remember lol

I have to say, I think you're the first playthrough pioneer I've watched to read *all* the words. This will serve you well!
Thank you David. All pioneer's should read the manual before operation.
@@ThomasEdward84 thats a lets player illness... missing important information to complain later :))

Post-watch comment: I thought you'd at least build the HUB in the first episode. I was wrong, but not disappointed one bit. Very entertaining video.

Your game is so pretty! I wish my laptop could get those graphics with good frame rate

Ahh, 3D Factorio.
The entire map is one giant connected area designed by hand; the starting locations are just different areas in the same world.
I did not know that, bitbucketcynic. I can’t wait to explore those biomes!

Glad you enjoyed it!
I like what I see so far in this title and I can’t wait to explore the map and automate a factory!
See you in the next episode!
#1 Tip: when you are building a factory, your spacious foundation IS NOT big enough....
Also, when placing foundations or free placing a building, hold ctrl to snap it to the world grid. Only you can stop Spaghetti....
Aye-aye Captain. Thank you for those couple tips!
@@joehelland1635 The -spaghetti- factory must grow !
Its a joy to watch blind playthroughs, you can never get this kind of experience again. I look forward to more spaghetti!
I wonder if ADA will approve spaghetti?! 🤭

For future viewers: This is an excellent series, but you might want to set the playback speed to at least 1.5 for optimal viewing pleasure.
Thank you
Glad the algorithm finally popped you up again, I forgot all about you 😔
It’s been a while Sasquatch and I’m happy to see you stopping by! ❤️

Welcome aboard! Much appreciated.
Good luck man, this is one of the best games I've ever played.
Thank you, Tomaruz! I’m already having lots of fun with this title. First person perspective takes a bit of time to get use to.

With ADA and Ficsit Inc. looking over my shoulder what can go wrong on Massage-2(A-B)b?
Enjoyable watching someone go through this for the first time. Loved when you saw the space giraffe run past while you were in the menu hahahaha. Those things are so annoying.
I hope the space giraffe and I can coexist moving forward. 😃
Making fun of the pioneer for touching the zapper? You're gonna love Ada's dialogue lol
You are going to be big mark my words
Hey Tom, I tried to watch but 1st person games makes me dizzy. Have fun on this playthrough and good luck. I'll check in occasionally.
Im sorry to hear that Phmo!
Please do check back as I’m releasing a DSP mini series in a day or two.

You don't want to kill any wild life huh? Well the wild life sure has a different opinion about that!
OOOOH IT'S THOMAS FROM FACTORIO
i have no idea where i've seen you but i for sure did
i'm damn sure i've seen you somewhere
but after checking your channel i'm not so sure now...
huh... weird
I did a Dyson Sphere Program Playthrough. This was my first playthrough on this channel.
@@ThomasEdward84 I'm still sure I've seen you somewhere else
OH and one more thing left ctrl snaps certain build items to the world map which you will truly love once you get them.
Excellent tip, Marietta! The factory must be orderly and efficient.
@@ThomasEdward84 You're welcome.
6:30 i seeeeee

Thank you for the correction.
