Good video and I hope power scale one piece more in the future. Btw I'm pretty sure it was stated by Oda that One piece guns have infinite bullets and they're alot stronger than real life guns,so by that logic it makes sense why guns are a big deal even tho characters can move at light speed
One thing to consider that might skew the speed data a bit is the fact that canonically, the flintlock weapons in One Piece are more advanced and efficient than thir real world counterparts.
Most feats of power in One Piece seem to prioritize higher attack potency with low areas of effect, but there are a select number of feats that are noteworthy for spanning long distances and/or going beyond the horizon (ie., Luffy parting the dark cloud layer produced by the Arc Maxim over Skypia, Aokiji’s casual Ice Age spanning beyond the horizon to reach other parts of Long Ring Long Land, Whitebeard’s and Teach’s earthquakes not only sending tsunamis to Saobody, but creating aftershocks on islands around the world, etc.). For scaling these feats, do you think there’s enough evidence in the manga to calculate these feats with a larger planet size for the One Poece world, or do you prefer the safer option of scaling it to Earth?
Theres more specific numbers for some of those feats For example aokiji says the man will get to the other side of the ice in 4 days of walking travel wich is anywhere from 150 to 200km If we say the ice is in the form of a half circle the area is equal to some not so big countries around 35000km² if i remember correctly
Luffy ap is city level. Buggy tanked a buggy bomb which can destroy a city in one shot, thus all of luffys attacks have to have city potenvy to hurt buggy.
