Soy milk was what I first was obsessed with also having the most protein ...when almond only contains 1g protein but I fell in love with Pea protein milk with 10grams protein it won me over plus the taste was so creamy and just amazing ...it’s all my baby has drank since I stopped breastfeeding him at 1 and introduced him to a milk alternative
I would love to try everything you just mentioned, but unfortunately most of these brands are not available in the Netherlands! We do have violife cheese, and I think follow your heart is slowly but surely making its way into the grocery shop, so will definitely try that out. Been vegan for six months now, and I think the best thing I've tried so far vegan Ben&Jerry's and Magnum ice cream and vegan margherita pizza from Lidl. But most of all I'm just very much enjoying the new recipes I've learned, and the many new ingredients I had never heard of before!

My parents weren't very supportive of me becoming a vegetarian and they're just starting to come around to accepting the whole idea. I will probably have to wait until after I graduate high school to become a vegan, but for now I try to lessen my consumption of eggs and dairy as much as I can. For your Aunt Jemima pancakes try 1/4 cup apple sauce per egg and use any milk alternative. bomb. add the apple sauce first then the milk alternative. slowly add the milk alternative until you get the desired consistency because sometimes it can get to runny when subbing nut milk for regular milk. They are so good.

Idk if anyone else has tried it but I love the maison riviera yogurt. SOOOO good and so similar to regular yogurt (only some of their flavours are vegan). They also sell some of the yogurts without plastic packaging. Love their yogurt so much
You are not lactose intolerant. You are just not a baby cow. Cow's breast milk was never meant for human consumption and those who can digest it are the ones with weird unnecessary mutation of the genes. 😉

I’m not sure if you have this brand in Toronto, but in BC there’s a yogurt brand called ‘Maison Riviera’ and it is INCREDIBLE. I loved the daiya too but this one is the closest in my opinion to real yogurt. They also recently started making a Kefir drink that is delicious. It’s made in Canada too which is a plus :) great video by the way, Earth Island cheese is the best cheese 🤤

This is a great video! I can see how helpful it is for new vegans or people who wanna start replacing stuff! I also thought I would say some of my fave alternatives too! 1.applewood smoked vegan cheese melts so so well and my family say it tastes like normal cheese! 2. Alrpo yogurt is really good, I haven’t found one that’s the exact same but I really like it and it has so many flavours and textures! 3. I love oat milk now I used to love almond, but Oml homemade cashew milk is soooo decadent 4. Oml Richmond vegan sausages are the best I have ever had they taste like normal meat ones but even better they have the best flavour ever! Also kinda mcartney are very good too! 5. Hellmanns vegan mayo is so good that my whole family no longer buys normal mayo it’s so cool to see my family swapping out certain things like this! 6. Im from the U.K. and asdas own plain cream cheese is absolutely amazing I love it so so much! Also violife cheese/cream cheese is okay definitely can tell it’s vegan though 😂 7. I love sunrise cereal too! A bit expensive here but it’s soo good! 8. I love pretty much any vegan ice cream! But oatly ice cream is sooo good my family love it and say they can’t even tell a difference! Also alpro is good but so expensive! 9. Bournville dark chocolate is a saviour for vegans I swear! But galaxy vegan chocolate is so good it’s really impressive , and Oml yes moo free is amazing the honeycomb is my fave 10. Skittles is always the one I go for when I want candy cus it’s really easy to get. 11. I love twinnings chocolate power it’s accidentally vegan and so good! I do live in the U.K. so some of this stuff might not be available but a lot of it is available in Europe! I hope this helped anyone, I loved the video ❣️
The so delicious coconut milk mint chocolate chip is my fav non-dairy ice cream! I also like the silk almond milk yogurt mix ins (chocolate coconut almond flavor) its like a flip yogurt and you add the toppings.
I also love the so delicious cashew caramel ice cream, BUT Breyers makes a vegan cookies and cream which is bomb, and its about 3x the size for the same price. Since a lot of these vegan alternatives are a little on the pricier side, its nice to have cheaper options too

Chao Cheese is awesome, MELT butter, Hellmans Vegan Mayo - can't even tell the difference.. has a classic mayo taste as opposed to a miracle whip taste , Riviera Coconut yogurt (they sell vegan and non vegan options, so look out for that), le GRAND cream cheese (think these guys also sell vegan and non vegan.. so look out for that)💦 AND ALL CAN BE FOUND IN THE GTA AND TORONTO AREA👌
OAT MILK! YAY, because nut allergy here, soy intolerant here. Also the Oatly creamer. Love this alternative option vid. FYI, if you get the JUST egg, try making french toast with it, I promise it's amazing. Of all things I miss it's eggs, like baking with eggs and such not actually egg its self. So I really missed French toast and all the vegan ways have left me longing for French toast. This worked amazing, I put JUST egg in a bowl, vanilla and a little oat milk, sopped my bread and put it in a hot buttery pan. It was awesome.
If you can get your hands on the Kite Hill cream cheese buy it!!!! Game changing. I love the chive and plain. Follow Your Heart cheese is so good, but I also love Field Roast Chao cheese. The So Delicious ice cream you mentioned is 🔥 and my fav as well! You should try the Coolhaus ice cream sandwiches if they’re in Canada. They are expensive but they’re so good they will blow your mind 🤯 Also restaurants that add herbs and spices to the Impossible Burger makes it 100x better and so comparable to a real burger. Thanks for sharing all your favs, I’ve been tempted to buy the Beyond Burger meatballs and sausages so now I’ll definitely have to give them a try. 💚🌱
Also I’ve been loving the Hilarys World Best Veggie Burgers. They are not comparable to an actual burger at all but the ingredients are legit and I love crumbling them into a salad. And Hilarys maple breakfast sausage patties are LEGEND. I like to make a breakfast sandwich with an Ezekial English Muffin, Kite Hill Cream Cheese, the sausage, Just Egg patty, salad greens and a little Follow Your Heart Ranch. Sooo good!!!🤤🤤🤤🤤

It’s true. The so delicious caramel cashew cluster is superior. I’ve tried so many vegan ice creams in my four years vegan and there is just no comparing to it ❤️ I will say though that two of my favorites from ben and Jerry’s are the pb cookie and chocolate cherry

There’s a vegan creamer brand called nutpods and the hazelnut creamer is so good! And my bf doesn’t eat plant based but he loves the chao cheese and request it when I grocery shop!
i’ve recently heard so many bad things about the daiya cream cheese and i was SHOCKED. because i went vegan a month or so ago and i ate cream cheese and bagels everyday and i just grabbed the daiya one as a replacement to try out and i freaking LOVED it! to me it is even better than normal cream cheese so idk🤷🏻♀️
I’ve been vegetarian for 12 years, but I’m not sure I could ever go full vegan. I do use oat milk, but I do want to try more alternatives so thank you for this. I’m in the minority on this, but I don’t like eating veggie meat that tastes like real meat. I don’t like the taste of meat so it grosses me out 😅
I don’t know if they have violife products in Canada but they have the BEST vegan cream cheese and cheeses in general. 10/10 recommend. Follow your heart Mozzarella slices are super good. Gardein has the best beefless crumbles and breakfast bowls!

I would surely try those. I think vegans could get much more people joining their ranks if they just talk about the benefits of being vegan without making people guilty of eating meat. Do you guys have any studies of this correlation? I mean, between making people wrong and getting LESS people joining in. And just talking about the benefits, skipping the environment and cruelty needle pricking, and getting MORE people joining in. Does anyone keep a statistic for this? I think you won't get many people joining in if you immediately place them at a defensive position.
My FAVORITE cream cheese alternative was Trader Joe’s brand of vegan cream cheese, however I can’t find it anywhere anymore. It tastes SO similar to real cream cheese.

Margarine is a vegan subsitute for butter if you get the ones made with vegetable oils.

FYI, if you get the JUST egg, try making french toast with it, I promise it's amazing. Of all things I miss it's eggs, like
baking with eggs and such not actually egg its self. So I really missed French toast and all the vegan ways have left
me longing for French toast. This worked amazing, I put JUST egg in a bowl, vanilla and a little oat milk, sopped my
bread and put it in a hot buttery pan. It was awesome.

If you can get your hands on the Kite Hill cream cheese buy it!!!! Game changing. I love the chive and plain. Follow Your Heart cheese is so good, but I also love Field Roast Chao cheese. The So Delicious ice cream you mentioned is 🔥 and my fav as well! You should try the Coolhaus ice cream sandwiches if they’re in Canada. They are expensive but they’re so good they will blow your mind 🤯 Also restaurants that add herbs and spices to the Impossible Burger makes it 100x better and so comparable to a real burger. Thanks for sharing all your favs, I’ve been tempted to buy the Beyond Burger meatballs and sausages so now I’ll definitely have to give them a try. 💚🌱
Also I’ve been loving the Hilarys World Best Veggie Burgers. They are not comparable to an actual burger at all but the ingredients are legit and I love crumbling them into a salad. And Hilarys maple breakfast sausage patties are LEGEND. I like to make a breakfast sandwich with an Ezekial English Muffin, Kite Hill Cream Cheese, the sausage, Just Egg patty, salad greens and a little Follow Your Heart Ranch. Sooo good!!!🤤🤤🤤🤤

It’s true. The so delicious caramel cashew cluster is superior. I’ve tried so many vegan ice creams in my four years vegan and there is just no comparing to it ❤️ I will say though that two of my favorites from ben and Jerry’s are the pb cookie and chocolate cherry

There’s a vegan creamer brand called nutpods and the hazelnut creamer is so good! And my bf doesn’t eat plant based but he loves the chao cheese and request it when I grocery shop!

i’ve recently heard so many bad things about the daiya cream cheese and i was SHOCKED. because i went vegan a month or so ago and i ate cream cheese and bagels everyday and i just grabbed the daiya one as a replacement to try out and i freaking LOVED it! to me it is even better than normal cream cheese so idk🤷🏻♀️

I’ve been vegetarian for 12 years, but I’m not sure I could ever go full vegan. I do use oat milk, but I do want to try more alternatives so thank you for this. I’m in the minority on this, but I don’t like eating veggie meat that tastes like real meat. I don’t like the taste of meat so it grosses me out 😅

I would surely try those. I think vegans could get much more people joining their ranks if they just talk about the benefits of being vegan without making people guilty of eating meat. Do you guys have any studies of this correlation? I mean, between making people wrong and getting LESS people joining in. And just talking about the benefits, skipping the environment and cruelty needle pricking, and getting MORE people joining in. Does anyone keep a statistic for this? I think you won't get many people joining in if you immediately place them at a defensive position.

My FAVORITE cream cheese alternative was Trader Joe’s brand of vegan cream cheese, however I can’t find it anywhere anymore. It tastes SO similar to real cream cheese.
