I wash all of my produce before it goes in the fridge. I use white vinegar diluted with water. The more delicate items like herbs and lettuce soak the least amount of time. (Store in a damp kitchen towel to stay crisp) it saves so much time to prewash when your ready to eat & don't wanna wash the produce. My produce lasts a long time so it doesn't cause it to spoil faster.
yes I want to see a grocery shopping video and haul. I would recommend to only wash your veg as and when you're going to us eat it unless you re meal prepping.

Lush products have a date u are supposed to use it by . But u actually have another week ti use the products up . Also the freshest products are like at the bottom. They put the products that are going out of date at the top so there us no waste . Love you xx
That's so interesting, everything is just like in my kitchen except for the legumes! In Greece we always buy them unprocessed and boil them ourselves. Oh and for the fridge odour we use coffee grounds in a cup and we keep garlic & onions out of the firdge, alongside the potatoes hahaha

I find that if I wash my berries all at once they go bad a LOT quicker rather than if I just wash when needed. It’s a less lazier option but it saves me from bad berries! Same goes for other veggies.

I used to love going to St. Lawrence market when I lived in Exeter. I actually love the mustard man at the market. I love those mustard so much I wish they were sold in the US.
I'm not a fan of raspberries but use them to flavour my water alongside lemon which is nice

I have had great success with keeping Lush facemarks in the freezer! It keeps them much longer and from my experience, they never froze solid. They were ready to use when I needed, fresh, and nice and chilly! It might be worth it for your stack to give you more time to use them up!

I'm the same with capers!! Only realised in the last couple of years. Why did we think this?? I'd also recommended washing and prepping most of your fruit and veg straight away. There are ways of keeping it fresh for as long as possible, eg. chopping carrots and keeping submerged in water, or washing greens and wrapping them in a slightly damp towel. Just Google zero-waste food prep If your lettuce isn't lasting long, it's probably because you're washing away a chemical preservative spray -- washing, chopping, and wrapping in a damp towel in the fridge will help! It's also just good practice to do a batch wash after a grocery shop so everything is fresh and pesticide-free and ready to use. 💖🌺

Veggie salad tip!! I don't pre-wash them but If you buy bagged salad, store them in a tupperware with 1 sheet of kitchen roll on top before popping on the lid and the salad will last longer as it won't get soggy and go off quicker. 😄Also, eyeliner is soooo bomb 😍

We keep ours super simple. Lots of canned beans, rice, pasta and sauce, tofu, fresh mushrooms, fresh bell peppers, fresh onions, fresh tomatoes, nut milk, special drinks(his and hers), post workout snacks, nooch, soy sauce, teriyaki, mayo, fake meat only twice a week, frozen green veggies, bread, grape seed oil, oatmeal, nut butter, and a few odds and ends.
Right now that this virus is around us I prefer to wash my veggies before I put them in the fridge. As for the lettuce and my greens the key is to wash and save them in a tupper with kitchen towels! Not only they last longer but it’s very easy and simple when you need to make your salad! :)

always have to have trader joe's vegan cream cheese in the fridge, it's the best vegan cream cheese i've ever had and i put it on bagels and crackers and it's amazing!!

I don’t like raspberries either!! And regarding the lettuce I usually wash them with vinegar in a bowl, rinse them with water and let them air dry for a few hours before you put them in the fridge!! They will be fresh and crunchy longer! Hope this helped. 💞

I wash all of my fruits and veggies at once with water and a little bit of vinegar. There is no vinegar taste and it actually makes your produce last longer (especially my blueberries). You need to soak them for 15-20 minutes but its super easy and effective.

Great video and I am sorry if it is going to cause controversy but I like raspberries and all berries but don't eat them much due to store prices but I am planning to grow my own strawberries and blackberries. But I don't like strawberries and raspberries when they are out of season.
