Saw the overseas in-person at VC Dallas for the first time and it was a massive letdown. The PF Tonda and Czapek Antarctique look miles and miles better to me.
He does an amazing job with that videography. Damn. I believe you. I want to see this in person too, but if that happens, I might use an excuse about alimony is over and I should celebrate. Damn, this watch sings to me.
Of all the pictures that came out of Watches and Wonders this year, I immediately gravitated towards this watch, I find it quite beautiful. My first introduction to the brand as well.
Omg!!! I LOVE this. Your PF Tonda videos make me want them really badly! I sincerely hope we can buy these discounted in the future like the watch world used to be like
Well written piece on a well executed watch - beautiful. I like a date complication, especially at six o’clock. At the moment my most worn watch has a three o’clock date window. People will be people.
Brother, I just love your videos: great writing, stellar videography, and your music game is just the best. I love the funky contrast of fine watchmaking with a West African music.
PF’s Tonda are so great and this one in particular. Nice review ! Hopefully the brand will keep on flying under hype boys radars ! Those who know, know ;-)
Looks great without the date. How many times a day do people need to see what the date is? Are they memory disfunctional? I see the date in the morning and don't forget it.
That's a solid watch dent at 3:28 where you actually *wear* it. 😅 I think sliding it down to the "knuckle" makes it look a bit illusorily bigger than it is on wrist. 🤷♂️ Still, love all your reviews, keep up the amazing work. Some of the best editing and all the best music in the RUclips review scene. 💪
Nice review. I have 2 Parmigianis in my collection. A PF Microrotar in full RG with date, and a minute ratrapante which I had to send back after 1 month of ownership due to a problem with the hidden hand which would not calibrate correctly when engaged
Fun fact: No date is a complication invented by the Japanese. "nodate" is a Japanese word meaning "daily cycle", and is the embodiment of a spiritual way of living each day as a separate whole, notably to serve each day the community, obeying the superiors and looking after those in need. There was no need of knowing what day it was, because every day was to be spent in exactly the same way, from sunrise to sunset. Another fun fact: I may have made this up.
“Now your watch can match your nightlife, simple and date-free”. Too funny 😂. As Eddie Murphy and Nick Nolte will tell you; 48 hours is all you need. Parmigiano is not only non-hypey, it’s great cheese too, all 7 inches of it! 😉😅 Great review 👍 I wish I had the money…for the date version. 😎
Oh, 12 out of 16 of my mechanical / automatic watches are no dates. The 4 that have dates were just so damn good looking I couldn't not get them... I would replace the dial of all 4 just to hide the date and live with the Ghost if I had the time...
It's a decent looking microrotor movement, but it's not Chopard 1.96 or 3.96 nice, and those are coming in watches that cost less than half the price and look better with a greater legacy. It's hard to see what the price of these gets you.
It looks beautiful, and it is impressively thin for an automatic. At 40mm, it's kinda big for my tastes... but I won't buy it because it's $25,300 and that's beyond my budget.
I think you'd be surprised with how many people who can't afford to own watches like these still buy them. Being able to buy a watch and being able to actually afford it are not the same. I think the best recipe is to enjoy what we already have.
I could drop 25k$ on a watch, but even with 100$ notes, there's 250 pieces of thick fabric paper, one gram each, so 250 g. I'd drop it on a G-shock, to be on a safe side.
I have the Rolex Explorer 40mm and the watch is running at +.5sec/day on average after a year for 7,500$. I can't justify 25k for a watch that will not be more accurate and has the same function. That's just my 2 cents.
I absolutely love their GMT with the hidden hand that jumps out.
GMT Rattrapante
Well done as always. PF has so much competition as this price point, but the Tonda's density of details and the sheer comfort deserves more attention
Agreed. PF’s have some good differentiators.
If you catch me wearing this, you'll know I accidentally found 25k.
It’s perfect. It’s just also perfectly out of reach. I’d buy a Vacheron Overseas first.
@@acknastyI’d rather paid 25k to the Manufacturer then to the flippers for an Oversea.

Saw this in person. Photos and Videos can't capture its true essence. What a beautiful watch.

“Firstly, I don’t think you would buy it.” That so needed to be said! 🎉😂
Yes I agree. I don’t need it , I don’t need it , I don’t need it
Omg!!! I LOVE this. Your PF Tonda videos make me want them really badly! I sincerely hope we can buy these discounted in the future like the watch world used to be like
Underrated brand for sure.
Underrated joke in the beginning
Love PF, they’ve been releasing insane watches. Pure class!
Well written piece on a well executed watch - beautiful.
I like a date complication, especially at six o’clock. At the moment my most worn watch has a three o’clock date window.
People will be people.
Gorgeous. Love the new design language of PF.
They truly make some spectacular watches.
Beautiful watch. Love the dial. No other color needed - it is perfection. Wish I could afford it.

The Tonda is so elegant ❤
I received my Tonda PF Annual Calendar today, love it!
My new favourite watch that I can't afford. I'm glad you showed this to US.
its absolutely gorgeous
Going from the F91W to this is a rollercoaster
Some of your best work.
The closest to a perfect overall design in a watch I've seen. Absolutely love PF !
Gorgeous watch! Thank you for sharing.
I love the hidden hand gmt from this brand, great looking piece.
my fav brand. I have 2 pieces from pf and they are just perfect.
PF’s Tonda are so great and this one in particular. Nice review ! Hopefully the brand will keep on flying under hype boys radars ! Those who know, know ;-)

Admittedly excited about the brand, but would I opt for a watch with more complications, and I don't mean a date window.
This watch is close to perfection
the only watch I think really pretty. thanks for sharing great video!!!
great watch! only nitpicking is the movement 'only' beats at 3hz, and power reserve is 48hrs
Probably one of the most beautiful watches I have ever seen. Couldn’t ever justify the price though 😢
Nice review. I have 2 Parmigianis in my collection. A PF Microrotar in full RG with date, and a minute ratrapante which I had to send back after 1 month of ownership due to a problem with the hidden hand which would not calibrate correctly when engaged
That's part of the story. Things happen, but what happens?
Was customer service ok? Did they take care of you? What the process ok?
The one and only cheese based watch I would ever spread on my wrist.
I'd buy it if it had a month window.
This comment slayed me. Applause
Man I'd buy this so fast, if only it had a day complication without the date!
Please review the 36mm Tonda PF. Your 7-inch wrist needs it, and you know it.

For $25k I hope the crown has a ghost perpetual calendar position
A great looking watch
The watch matches your wrist perfectly, you should buy it
I think I ordered a Parmigiani at Olive Garden the other day
STOP its so funny! love you man
awesome watch! could you do a review on the maen 39 ultra thin
Any idea if they plan to make this in 36mm?
Great vid! You borrowed Yngwie’s guitar to film?
Awesome stuff:) Would you ever consider reviewing a subscriber’s watch?
Thanks
Let's hear that strat someday!
I absolutely love Tondas. I think they also make a smaller version now? If only I made twice my salary...
They do have a 36mm version with different movement
That’s beautiful
When it comes to fine imitation watches, amzwatch delivers. I've bought from them several times, and I've never been let down.
Nice, it's finally not a hipster watch you dug out.
Very nice! My favorite current Parmigiani model 🙂
Can you review the MAEN Brooklyn 36 triple calendar?
The Tonda PF truly looks better without a date, idk why but the date window on their other versions make it look cheaper.
What does “second of ly” mean?
I need to know what year/spec' the Strat' is.
Is the Strat the classis player 50s?
id buy it if it have a date window
😂
Can you do an entire episode on why 7 inches is the best wrist size, please?
also providing url links to plastic surgeons for wrist enhancement/augmentation

Great review 👍 I wish I had the money…for the date version. 😎
Fantastic piece. Elegant luxury. But there aren't enough dollars or minutes in my life to accommodate it.
Keep the No-date autos coming!
Oh, 12 out of 16 of my mechanical / automatic watches are no dates.
The 4 that have dates were just so damn good looking I couldn't not get them... I would replace the dial of all 4 just to hide the date and live with the Ghost if I had the time...
Secondably... or whatever. Just... because.
Was not expecting that price
Were you expecting Fossil prices?
@@mjdm1925 Maybe
What was his wrist size? Did I miss it? Did he say in the video?
7"
Forget the date window--a complimentary cheese grater with purchase would suffice.
Need that seconds hand though.
Parmigiani Flourier is delicious on Spaghetti Scametti
secondofly is my new favourite word
3:15 🎉🎉🎉 SEVEN INCH WRIST 🎉🎉🎉
I would buy it if I knew what your wrist size was
#mamacoo Bolsa réplica 1:1 con imagen reflejada, resistente y resistente al desgaste. Me gusta mucho.
"Second-of-ly" 😂
Need a micro adjust. Otherwise perfect.
the dial is such a beauty, its a shame to dig a hole, to put in a window
I mean, you could use the same logic to say it's a shame to cover it up with hands and indices.
I'd add some Parmigiani to my pasta.
Seconds hand?!!

"Gland quoi?" I did not understand?
I am the one guy on the internet who loves (symmetrical) date complications but hates butterfly clasps. If it had a good clasp, I would buy it 🤭
I’d maybe probably not wouldn’t buy it if it possibly had a date window
It looks beautiful, and it is impressively thin for an automatic. At 40mm, it's kinda big for my tastes... but I won't buy it because it's $25,300 and that's beyond my budget.
I'm always amazed by the fact that some people have so much money that they can just go and drop $25,000 on a watch.
And more money than sense if they drop it on this watch!
I think you'd be surprised with how many people who can't afford to own watches like these still buy them. Being able to buy a watch and being able to actually afford it are not the same. I think the best recipe is to enjoy what we already have.
@@KeepingWatchUK proof you have a pretty low bank balance 😂

Your parents should have stopped that pregnancy if they were not saving to leave you a big inheritance like mine
Idk about $25300 for a comfy time-only watch with some nice finishing.
I don’t think I would buy it if it was a $1000. Not for me. I enjoyed the video though!
I honestly can’t get over this brand’s name. Not that I would buy it if it had a different name.
0:04 Too real! Too real!
Big statement, but this is my favourite watch that I’ll probably never own
I would not buy it even with a date window :)
And why are Date-Windows not called correctly Day-of-the-Month-Windows? Sorry, i am german.
I’m have the opposite problem. I see a watch without a date and I say “I’d buy it if it had a date complication”. 🤷🏼
No date is the way to go. If I want to know the date, I'll glance at my phone.
Looks like the aqua terra with this color, for 3x the price
My evenings will remain... "Aperture-less"
5:09
make a new video!
it's been two weeks !
I’m on vacation.
Before that integrated bracelet craze parmigiani, with kalpa and old tonda, was such a great brand. Now meh
I have the Rolex Explorer 40mm and the watch is running at +.5sec/day on average after a year for 7,500$. I can't justify 25k for a watch that will not be more accurate and has the same function. That's just my 2 cents.
The 7 inch wrist joke 😂
The shots of the watch on the strat give me feelings I’m too embarrassed to share.
lol!!
