The XShot Clutch is the only good xshot blaster I’ve had experience with. It’s cheap and reliable but don’t get the hpg700. My friends broke after a month and maybe 2-3 wars. I have no experience with the trace fire so I couldn’t tell you that’s what you should get yet
I got the surge xl on clearance at sams club for $40. I got the splatrball pistol for 19. Most disappointing is the lightning blaster. It looks great but only shoots every 5th or 6th round. I heard about people adding a few drops of dish soap as they are hydrating their gel balls. What do you think about adding soap?
I've never had to add soap to my gel blaster bullets. I might have to test that out for a RUclips short. I guess you can try soap but I have no experience with adding any to my bullets and I haven't tested the lightning blaster myself. You definitely got a deal on that surge XL for sure. The SplatRBall SRB375 is also a pretty fun blaster.
The SplattrBall with the drum magazine is by far my favorite gun, doesn’t jam ever, very rarely does it skip a bullet
The blaster is so awesome! It is one of my only blasters that doesn’t misfire when on full auto. I love the blaster but the battery accessibility and lights on the front are really the biggest down sides

From where i came from tbh for 100 dollar you could get a competition grade gel blaster, most of them are chinese brands but trust me they are fire. I reccomend either Jinming, Weidi, or even Lehui. But ofc these reccomendations are also fire but i prefer Jinming brands.
Last time my friend got a JinMing, it broke it under a day so I wouldn’t buy their products

Hey There! Thank you for commenting on my video! I love it when people ask questions. The durability of these guns are quite good, the guns that I unboxed were brand new so I haven't had them in the long run but the Nerf Raid is a very solid unit. That thing hasn't coughed up yet and I've used it in that video and I've used it in 3 2 hour long wars and it hasn't had a hiccup. The XShot clutch hasn't been used much so I don't have an opinion. The Nerf Legion is very basic and works as intended and has been pretty reliable. All of the other guns are anywhere from 6 months old-2 years old with the Splatrball being 2 years old. The battery guns won't last all day unless you take time charging it. But the longest battery life I've had from a Gel Blaster is the Surge XL fully charged. I've gotten 3 hours before on one charge. There really is no gel blaster that will go for 4-5 hours during a war unless you turn it off while you aren't shooting. And speaking of the balloon idea. It was originally supposed to be part of the video, after I reviewed each gun, there were segments where it was going to show which ones could pop a balloon. Even at 3 feet away, they just bounced off the balloon and rebounded in every which way. So none of them could pop a balloon. If I were to recommend one to a beginner, I'd definitely recommend the Antsy AKM47, it's lasted me for a year and I'd recommend buying the extra battery kit along with the extra hoppers for more fun and more ammo for when your into big wars. But if you want to get straight into wars, the Gel Blaster Surge XL is a great option because it can do a lot that you want to do. Or something like the Splatrball SRB1200 is a good option but the only problems that I don't like about that gun is that the battery is in an awkward position which makes it hard to plug in. Also there is no on or off switch so you have to unplug the battery to turn if on and off. It does have blue led lights on the barrel which some people don't like because it uses battery life and makes you very visible at night and you candy turn them off. The only other problem is that it's kind of difficult to load it. Take what you want from that information and thank you for commenting.

The unlockx ammo is really good quality, it’s just that it’s usually too expensive for what you get so I’d much prefer something my else

No the starfire just comes with the extra add on that was featured in the beginning of the video, it’s not in it, it’s just a separate piece that can be bought separately or comes with the Starfire models

I have no experience with the xshot blasters except the hpg700 my friend had it and it was very good until it broke 2 months after he bought it. Lets just hope it isn’t like that, the xshot trace fire is $25 on Amazon, might’ve overplayed a little bit

After seeing both in action, the pulsar pro is more fun to shoot but replacement parts wise, aftermarket accessories and how long the blaster lasts, the srb400 is the way to go

Yes they are and they also burst in impact so that you don’t have to worry about them getting into tight places and staying there.

Actually, my friend had the XShot HPG700 and it was the worst gun we’ve ever used in wars it broke on him mid war and that just makes me a little on edge of getting an electric xshot blaster, it sure is worth something that you want to see that so possibly someday

For the best accuracy, the Surge XL and the SplatRBall SRB1200 are right on par with each other. They are very fast shooting but they hurt quite a bit. But if you're looking to do closer range battles and don't want to get hurt as much along with save a lot of money, the AnsToy AKM47 is the best way to go. Can you do accuracy tests?
Accuracy tests are really hard to calculate and a lot of people have mixed opinions. If a gel blaster does shoot well, people will say that I have good aim and the gun is accurate. But if it doesn't shoot well, people will just say that I have bad accuracy. It's a good idea but will be very biased depending on who the viewer is.

They are legal in all states except California. They might be illegal in some other state but all I know for now is California
Played with a couple of the Nerf mythic guns and they jammed a lot and the semi auto trigger response is slow.
Yeah that's why I rated it lower, it's still a fun blaster to shoot and isn't too bad in wars now that I've done more.

I'm between the Hydro Strike Pulsar Pro & the SBR1200, which one would you recommend? & I'm confused as to how the Hydro Strike has such a low pain rating for its speed.
After using the Hydro Strike Pulsar Pro for months after this video. All 3 that I've used have ended up breaking within months of ownership. My friend has had the SRB1200 for over 2 year and it still works and has much better features, in my opinion, spend the extra money and get the SplatRBall SRB1200. The SRB1200 is a great option! Watching that other video I told you about will help you possible get a great side arm or secondary blaster. I highly recommend something like the Nerf Gel Fire Legion, Nerf Gel Fire Raid, or the AnsToy AKM47! Make sure your mom uses the links in the description of the videos to help support the channel!

The AKM47 shoots really fast but the shots don’t hurt as much. The surge xl and starfire xl have been known to have some good deals sometimes being $50 and if you want to go for one, the surge xl is the way to go

Thanks for the support! And no you don't have to use the SplatRBall brand ammo. It sure is higher quality than the other and will shoot only the tiniest bit better and will be harder to break on impact with another object. You can use and Gel Blaster Ammo as long as it's between 7-8mm which almost all of it is

No problem, I'm always happy to help. If you like that brand of ammo, keep using it, I tend to go for the cheaper stuff because I do wars 2-4 times a month and I go through about 40k rounds per war so I always get the cheaper ones and they still work. How come the hpg 700 is in the thumbnail but not the actual vid?
Originally it was supposed to be in the original video. But the day before I started filming it broke and I tried everything including trying another battery, putting new bullets in, cleaning out the barrel, it didn't work. I worked too hard on the thumbnail and I knew I couldn't make something look as good as that again so I decided to use the thumbnail and just go out and buy the Nerf Pro Gel Fire Raid to put in the video instead.

Yes, 160fps is as I would call an average or a little bit below average speed. You’ll definitely be able to feel it but it most likely won’t hurt as much and won’t go as far.

It might have something to do with the battery or you could've possibly fried the electronics or burned the gears out. I would not not how to go about fixing it. I would rather just get another blaster.

Last time I checked, Europe has very strict rules against gel blasters so your best bet is on eBay because no where else is distributing them to Europe

Hello there, again. Have you checked out the Nerf ghost gel blaster? That fires up to 200 ft./s. It’s probably a good side arm, I’m not sure though.
Yes, I'm going to get one soon. And yes I've seen it can fire up to 200FPS. It wouldn't be a good side arm but would be a great primary weapon because it's way to big to be carried like a side arm.

The Surge XL Day N Nite Edition comes with a tracer unit but the regular surge XL does not. It's a good pick but I'd try to find the Day N Nite edition to get the tracer unit and extra glow in the dark bullets.

@@shauntecknoyou can sometimes find the surge xl day n nite edition on Amazon, if you can the link in the description will bring you to it, but if not Walmart usually carries a big stock of them. Or you can go for the starfire xl which is the same thing as the surge xl and it comes with a tracer unit. But if worse comes to worse get it from the website because it’s way more expensive there

I know that the regular surge has two velocity barrels. That’s why I’m asking. I am visually impaired, and cannot see the screen.
@@shauntecknooh sorry about that, it does come with a pre installed barrel and is a one time barrel, the velocity of the blaster can be adjusted by the adjustment knob that is inbetween the stock and gun that can be adjusted with the green piece that came with the gun

I would need to know the gun because XSHOT and Gel Fire are completely different brands, the Nerf Brand is Hyper Gel and the XSHOT brand is Hyper Gel, which gun is it.

Ok, so I've never had good experience with XSHOT blasters except the clutch. The XSHOT Blasters seem to have weak electronics that give out too quickly. You should try clearing out the magazine and hopper along with taking a qtip and just rubbing around the inside of the barrel along with the chamber to remove excess bullet degree. If that doesn't work, I'd say the blaster is toast. My friend's XSHOT Blaster broke after a month and I don't buy XSHOT Blasters because of that. I'd go for something like the guns mentioned in this video.

@@oakleyentertainment ah my apologies, not a modified battery. I meant to say if you purchase a better battery, i believe the one i have is 11 volts, as opposed to the one they give you which is 9.4 i believe, the gun shoots MUCH FASTER.

The nerf gel fire us decent but main selling point for me rn is it 40% ish off on uk amazon and its the mr beast version which looks cooler. It's normally £60-£70 cuz its the mr beast version right now its £38. Idk should I buy it
The MrBeast Nerf Gelfire Blaster is the exact same thing as the Nerf Gelfire mythic blaster with just a 400 round smaller hopper. If you don't really care about that go for it, you can but an 800 round hopper off amazon for $6 if you really wanted it. I'd go for it and get that MrBeast blaster!

Even better can't buy the 800 round hoppers on UK Amazon unless you buy from a 3rd party seller with 3.5 stars and pay £30!! But the hopper doesn't really matter for me as it's my first gel blaster going to get it as a Xmas present for myself
