Used your template to make one out of cardboard since that’s the material I had. It still came together nicely with some tweaking since it’s a thinner material. You’re awesome! Thank you!
Great video. well described and your crafting has just enough of everything so beginning smiths can make it and not get lost but not too overboard that veterans get bored.
@@FoamArmoryProps cool. Cant wait to see it. I've never made a foam mask, but I'm gonna try my first one for Halloween. How long does it, usually take?
@@GarrettAMLee So excited for you! It's a lot of fun. Working the shop like a full time job, it usually takes me 2-3 days for a complete piece, including dry/recoat times. So give yourself some leeway

Great question! The short answer is, not necessarily. The long answer is that initially sealing the foam with a brush-on layer like mod podge helps you use a LOT less plastidip in the long run. Essentially, you're looking at 1-2 layers with mod podge versus 3-4 or even 5 without
@FoamArmoryProps i downloaded the template and it looks awesome. I dont see any instructions or register marks. Im a newbie and any help would be appreciated.
@@FoamArmoryProps no trouble per say. You had mentioned watching a different video to see how to do that and couldnt find it. Just trying to figure it out
@@davidmadden932 that's unfortunate. Yeah, I can't recommend using my patterns for cardboard. They require a material more capable of forming compound curves
Now that RDJ has been cast as Doom, I see a lot of crafters being helped by this video.
duuuuuuude youre the man ive been looking for a good dr doom mask man thank you
I made one and I was not happy since Im not a good pattern maker, Im happy that a good pattern is now available, and its free!
That’s just practis❤❤❤
Awesome!! A full Dr. Doom armor would be great.
I just might have to now ;)

I really appreciate that. It's such a delicate balance, but I'm glad it's coming across properly. Thank you
could you please make brute gunner’s helmet with foam please and make templates too?
This will be my second build from your templates. My first one was your Bat-fleck cowl! Wish me luck!
Good luck, Sir!
Awesome build definitely want to try it out👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

That’s amazing! I just wish I could understand how you made all the pieces to where they would lay down flat in pepakura. I just don’t understand it.

can you make a clone commando helmet
Awesome! You think you can do a Batman Beyond? Maybe take some liberties, since in the cartoon, it just looks like a full-faced black bat cowl.
Oh my gosh, I have always wanted to do one! I'm actually currently working up a Battinson Mask

Quick question, if you use plastidip to seal the mask do you still need to use modge podge?

as much as I want to make this mask, there’s absolutely no step by step here and I’ve wasted too much foam already
Feel free to check put the livestream for the unabridged assembly of the build!

'From fortnite' bro doctor doom isn't from fortnite hes a marvel villain

The design is kinda cool imo, it’s less restricted and more wider which works well for people with larger frames
Can you make an mf doom mask
MF doom?
Yes, please make one. MF DOOM.

I didn't. I said this was the design from Fortnite.
