This popped back up in my feed with the recent announcements, and I’m happy to say it’s been made and on my shelf for 2 years, and is still the best looking DOOM files I’ve seen yet today. Thank you Steve, for consistently delivering the best files, and the best tips and tricks.
I made this out of cardboard and then covered it in metal from drink cans and spray painted it. Re-looking at yours i think i should maybe add some more paint so it looks grimier. Great help, thank you! The day i spent making this i couldn't find anything else and my own templates were bad. I will try and install some lights on the eyes and maybe even a fog machine on the rest of the costume so it looks absolutely epic in the dark!
One prop I would love to see is some part of V1 from ULTRAKILL, it’s a great game that really deserves more attention, and I’m doing my own cosplay of him right now, and seeing how you handle the paint and weathering would give me leagues of confidence!

Awesome. Might do Dr. DOOM next Halloween because of this video. The mask with that iconic cloak, brilliant! The armor and leather will be a challenge. Some lifts in the shoes to make me about 6'3"-6'5". Fkn awesome.
@@SKSProps ok, so a quick big props to your HD Foam…I had the 6 and 10mm, but had to use 4mm from stock I had from my local craft store, and man can I tell the difference. The sanding and heat sealing of the HD foam is soooo much smoother, and I get much better cuts. It’s really amazing stuff, and I will keep purchasing it because it’s so easy to blend my seams.

@@SKSProps yeah it's definitely just a prop for that show alone. But i lowkey liked the design of it and now I'm searching for it everywhere and only stuff I'm finding is 3d printing ones :(
@@RGinc-13 you want to use a high density if at all possible but not a high shore hardness. Low density foam with high shore hardness just doesn’t manipulate or sand well and dulls your blades quicker so you do get clean cuts.
Hey Steve hi your fan this side umm Thank u for all props you made for us But I personally want you to make Batman beyond (cowl) it's I think it's probably the best cowl I have ever seen I have it's pepakura file but the problem I don't know how to make it umm if u could pls pls make it I can give u references or the file pls make it around Black Adam release I think you haven't made many dc props so it could be something that is very cool to start with and last thing is that pls pls make it it's a request from your fan I know there are schedules but if u could

Any tips on how to give it that dirty, airbrush-y sort of look? I used to try and do it on some of my star wars helmets but it never looked good.

What do you recommend to someone who has to use a dremel and bandsaw on carpet. How should I go about protecting it and having easy cleanup?
I’d do it like a Dexter kill room and get some heavy mil plastic drop cloths from the hardware store
