oh my god how have I lived without the sims 4 studio?? I've literally been sitting here GOOGLING the name of each item to see what it looks like before deleting it, and sometimes they don't even have names ahh this will save me so much time and pain! :'))

I knew about the file tray importer and I usually use that method but I didn’t know about S4S and that is honestly a game changer because I’ve been wanting a way to delete CC where I could literally go through each piece of content.
i clean my mods folder almost every week at this point hah, i never want to go over 2gb so i tend to only keep what i like to use! s4s is very helpful indeed

This is just in time for me! After the last update, I took all my cc/mods out with the intention of going through them. I have MCCC, twistedmexi build mods, 5 Columns, and UI extension cheats right now. And the necessary cc meaning my nails, 3D lashes, and the mod to remove EA lashes. That’s it right now. I was trying to figure out the best way to clean the folder out and deal with hair swatch updates and stuff. I needed this video. Thank you!

Bro sims 4 studio saved my life, I downloaded LOTS of cc without any problems but I had some broken cc I saw and lost it UNTIL this video saved my life- ty
I've gotten so much better with organizing my mods and cc. When I played Sims 2 I used to dump everything in the downloads folder. With Sims 3 & 4 everything has it's own folder. I also made a list of every mod I have so I can better track updates and possible conflictions.

Thank you so much for this video. I was trying to remember what the ts4 studio was called because it's been a couple years since I've touched the Sims again lol. I love how much it is easier to control what mods and cc you have in your game now. I don't feel so stressed by having a lot downloaded now because now I can keep track of it better lol.
This is such a game changer. I wish there was a way to see the files before they are installed (I recently changed computers so I wanted to use that as an opportunity to cull my cc) but at least there is a solution.

Oshin, thank you so much! After the update I couldn't play my game at all it wouldn't even let me go to my Sims house, it would bring me back to the Worlds format. After turning my brain inside out I disabled all my CC.. repaired my game took 3 hours since I have every game minus 3 packs.. or is it 2.. You're an angel 😇 I can't thank you enough.

I was today years old when I found out you could have multiple outfits for each occasion, sleep, casual, night etc. I didn't know you could set up more presets.

This is just what I needed as I’ve tried deleting individual items I know the name of but this looks much better!! I also now use S4S to merge packages that I know I want to keep. Less clutter 🤣
FYI today I was in S4S and I deleted some cc by mistake, I wanted to restore them but they were not in my recycle bin. So there is a chance that once you delete cc in the Sims 4 Studio it's gone foreever.
I swear I commend you and my daughter lol, she has a pristine setup like yours. I promise I don't have the patience. 🤣😂 I have a new laptop and I am trying to keep the CC much smaller than what I use to have on my old one. This is an excellent video though. i used to have 30k cc 😩 so i deleted my old folder to end up at 20k cc 💀, and my game is so fried atp, so it’s time to bring it down to AT LEAST 10k cc.
I save a pic of every single piece of CC I download and name it the same thing as the item. It really helps quickly deleting something I don't use or helping with a Google image search if I can't find the creator again. Plus it stops me from bulk downloading cc coz it can get a bit tedious. 😂
I didnt know i could do this with Sims 4 Studio. I have over 11k custom content files and i DESPERATELY need to find the junk stuff i dont want or need. thanks

For me CAS Standstill mod is included as one of the hard requirement too, lol it's so annoying to see them move around that often.

Tray Importer is also a lifesaver if you keep your CC merged because it will show which merged file the CC is in!
