Thanks this video was very helpful! With the Tray Importer method you don't have to keep closing the game. Once you have the clothes you don't want, save the household just like she explained in the video. Then switch to other clothes you want to delete and save the same household again. When you finally do close the game, Tray importer should have all saved housleholds on the left panel for you to select and delete the CC.
Omg I've been using both of these for a while but I never knew I could delete the broken/unwanted CC with Sims Tray Importer! I always just identified the file names then deleted them from Sims Mod Manager- Ty, this makes my life wayy easier! 😭💙

@@LibryahTheGoddess I know this was a month ago, but if your using Mod Manager still and its updated, it has the ability to create a thumbnail for you, all you have to do is run TS4 and scroll through CAS or BB :) (quick upd: i do think this is manual, so you might have to watch another video/find a post talking about it! this was something very easy to miss for me) for TS4TI, again if you have it updated, CC is now color coded and theres a small key at the bottom right that if you hover your mouse over, tells you what the colors mean. Hope this helps!
you can create more than one sim and keep adding the cc you don't want that way you don't have to keep logging on and off to delete cc, also if its other mods like furniture you can place them on a lot name the lot and delete it all as well 🙃😉

Hi! I've been having trouble launching the game and I thought it was because of some broken mods in my mods folder. I downloaded these 2 apps like you said and it found the broken mods, but after deleting them (and a lot of others mods i didn't want to keep) through Sims 4 Mod Manager I thought everything would be okay. Then as you say in the video, we need to open the game to use the Sims 4 Tray Importer, BUT IT STILL WON'T LET ME OPEN THE GAME TO TRY THAT APP :(((((( any suggestions? Hello I have an issue bc I download a crack version with Anadius. My mods are in a file and I change the options of the Game so I can see it when I start the Game but it doesn’t show in the game
Right now my sims 4 game is messed up after the new update. I dont know what to do, I usually just delete my entire mod folder but I REALLY dont want to do that. Does anyone know if there is a way I can do it? Its not like clothing cc that is broken but when I go into a game I can see any of my sims needs.
I keep my gameplay mods in organized folders by creator and I have an excel sheet of all those gameplay mods with links so I can easily update the If there is an update
So when you delete the CC in mod manager does that delete it from your cc folder or does it just disable it in game? cause ive been collecting cc for 5+ years and im trying to clear up space on PC
No because mod manager will show the thumbnail file as the original, so you’ll need sims 4 tray importer to actually go inside your game to find the specific file. If that makes sense 💕
My question is: Do these mod managers work together (meaning you need both for either to work properly), or are these mod managers independent of each other (meaning they do the same thing independent of each other, and it's mainly preference on which one you want to use)? I'm not sure I understand what's happening here. 🤷♂
if you load up each sim in a household do the other outfits count? like the work outfit, night outfit, etc? plus the 1-5 for each category? does it save and delete All of them?
