How Dr. Diana Ferrus' poem helped bring Saartjie Baartman home | Views and News with Clarence Ford

Clarence Ford interviews renowned South African writer, activist and storyteller Dr. Diana Ferrus.
She began writing poetry at the age of fourteen and her poem about Saartjie Baartman, ‘I’ve come to take you home’, became a catalyst for the return of Baartman’s remains to South Africa.
These days, Ferrus leads writing workshops in Cape Town while working as an administrator at the University of the Western Cape.
