I wish I had looked up your video sooner! The Calibration should do the trick. Checked a couple of antennas that looked like they were about 1.3:1 to 1.5:1 range on the Mini 1300, and 1.01:1 to 1.05:1 on the SWR meter with the radio. After I just ran through the calibration, I bet it will look MUCH better on the Mini 1300.
Did your Mini1300 come already pre-loaded with v1.04 or did you update the firmware yourself? Mine is arriving today and just preparing for any updates if I can find where to obtain the file.
My saa-2n nano vna says to calibrate at each use, even though is has memory slots for saving calibrations. Have you read anything about the mini1300 needing to be calibrated before each use?

Sorry Danny I just saw your message. I haven't updated the firmware on mine.
No probs mine came with v1.01 on it and didn't know whether to update or not, just don't fancy doing the HW calibration.

@@frankthetank3342 No mate, never seen that
What adapter do I need for this ? And how do I know what dummy load is what as there is no markings on them ?
multimeter bud
Can this be connected whilst using antenna ?
It is used to check an antennas resonance. If you mean connecting in linecwith a Transceiver like a tuner or meter the answer is no.
