@@RobbieStrike Yes. It's funny to see Tyler upset that other RUclipsrs can review antennas and do a great job like him. Also it's great that you decided to meet and do the interview. You two can make a great team. Tyler can get into satellite hobby since he does a great job reviewing and testing antennas. Don't know if he will make videos about C Band antennas but he can make videos about Ku Band antennas.
There is another RUclipsr, called "NorthCoaster Hobby" he is from Canada and also does a great job explaining about satellite television and OTA TV. Maybe you two can meet.
@@Nicholas_Chris The more people talking about this stuff the better. We all found it sad that so many people have no Idea there is free over the air antenna and satellite TV. Not the same channels as cable, But lots of worth watching channels
@@RobbieStrikeTotally agree with you there are people that think television is about HBO, ESPN, Discovery Channel, AMC, TCM, etc. And without those channels there is no such thing as television, let's not forget that 35 years ago only 3 or 4 channels where available to every one, in some countries only 1 or 2 channels and people where happy. The lucky ones who lived near the border where lucky to receive up to 8--9 channels. Cable TV was a luxury. Only in the 90s cable TV was affordable for almost everyone.
In Europe satellite TV is very popular, in fact satellite is the best alternative for cable and OTA. In some countries, OTA TV is obsolete it is considered a thing from the 70s, 80s. Satellite television provides you the same channels you get with a terrestrial antenna plus more free channels that are available on cable.
Some countries encrypt their FTA channels but you can buy a conditional access card or a decryption card no subscription you buy it once. They encrypt because movies and TV series are in original language (mostly english and sometimes spanish, french or turkish) but this is called FTW or Free To View. Channels can be viewed free only in the specific country like France or Italy.
There are satellites that have regional beams instead of wide beams like UK. The Astra 28.2 East satellite has two beams one for UK only and you get FTA most UK channels like BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 etc and the European beam but it's mostly music channels, news, religious some documentary and many indian channels.
Most TVs sold here have two tuners one for antenna/cable and the second for satellite and you don't need a satellite receiver unless you have an USALS motor and you can't move your dish with your TV and still have to use a receiver, but for fixed reception the TV is perfect. And they also have a CI+ or Common Interface, it's a slot where you insert a card (similar to old PC cards) and allows you to view encrypted channels like Pay TV or Free To View)

Funny video Robbie! I thought this UFO works pretty nice for a smaller size antenna. The one I reviewed is a little different, it doesn’t have the little pointy element on the top. 👍
I noticed that with your review of the UFO. I think it helps with the VHF. As I said it might be one the wife might prefer if you're in an area where you don't necessarily have to have a giant antenna. But when I can get you and a couple guys to come down to my town will set up a big 10-foot yagi ;)😉

No likely. You will need a dvb S2 preferably one that has at least mpeg 4. Check out my video about the Amiko Mini
