- Pokemon Uranium Pokedex Guide is a series where I discuss how a Pokemon does in-game. In this video, I'll be discussing the rewards you get from Professor Bambo. Minicorn and Luxi. Luxi can be obtained by catching 100 Pokemon. That seems kinda tough, but is Luxi worth doing that? Find out by watching this video!

Hey guys, hope you enjoyed the video! I'd like to clarify something. Super Luck isn't bad on Luxelong, it's just kind of a shame that it doesn't get a move like Air Cutter. If you use Focus Energy which Luxi gets early, then Luxelong will do critical hits most of the time! This capability is held back by Luxelong not having the greatest stats. So, yeah! That's all I wanted to say. :) Thanks for watching!
If this game uses pre-gen 6 Crit Mechanics, those will give critical hits 1/3 of the time. Give it a Scope Lens (Bealbeach Department Store on Thursdays) and half of its attacks will be crits.
If it uses Crit Mechanics from Gen 6 onward, Super Luck+Focus Energy will be enough to always crit.
I remember how in my first play trought I wanted to use luxi but was too lazy to catch 100 species
I personally LOVE Luxelong's design, type, and its overall typing, but I personally struggled using it even after fully evolving it. It would always fall behind and get KO'd against many opponents. I'm not sure if it was because it had trash IVs or a bad nature, but it was so bad that I eventually traded it for a Fur Coat Fafninter, who was way better and performed exceptionally in battle, even before I started IV and EV training.
Yeah, Fafninter is definitely better stats wise. Good choice.
I didn’t cause I got one traded to me with a solid nature and not horrible I’ves also I ev trained I got loads of wins cause of it
@@Parelily Welp, to each their own. I guess I was just disappointed with mine since I expected it to be better due to just how hard it was to obtain in-game.
Yes this uploads are getting faster and faster. Keep it up!
"Luxelong isn't the greatest" - Like the entire competitive community: "What have you done???"
Yeah Luxelong isn't the greatest in a regular playthrough since it's a bit of a pain to get and you only get Super Luck but in like every other context it's absolutely amazing. If you get it early in a randomizer it has Dragon Rage to skip basically the first 2 gyms and if you get into competitive it's Hidden Ability makes it one of the most important pokemon if not the most important pokemon outside of Ubers.
But again for a playthrough I agree. Actually I think mostly all pokemon in east Tandor after Rosalind are kinda useless for a playthrough since at least I always have a dedicated team ready at that point.
Luckily my guides are for playthroughs and not competitive. lol I don't know much about the Uranium competitive scene, but I'd love to look into it someday.
I suck at competitive, so any advice on pokemon I'll take without question.
Minicorn is super cute and both of its evolutions are tempting! I'll definitely consider giving it a try. Also wow, Victory Road already?? Small region I suppose. Looking forward to it anyway!
Enjoying the series. Looking forward to the Victory Road pokemon/ end game as some of them are really good.
The Fairy 🐉 one is one of the many fairys I considered to get for a fairy but I don’t for a bit regret picking the lil siren
Yay!!!! Finally a video bout Luxi and honestly it has one of my favorite cries ever!!!
Kiricorn are a based a two mythology creature its a unicorn and kirin

Precious Dragon baby is worth using.
Forfeit all possessions to dragon baby.
I like your content nice job with videos
Thank you! ^-^
Love your videos!
Thank you! :)
In a recent update, oblivicorn got a mega
I didn’t know these Pokémon were even in the game
Well, hey, now you know! :)
I didn't even know that this pokemon existed
Well, now you know. :)
When are you doing the pseudo legendaries
After I do Victory Road. :)
@@Sylaphy woah that was fast
i wonder why u don't review the mega stat and mega ability
That's gonna be its own video! :)
¿In what part of the game would it be optimal to try the most to get minicorn?¿Against what boss battles is it the most usefull?
Well, once you know you have 50 Pokedex entries, go to Professor Bambo's lab as soon as you can. Also, it depends on whether you get Kiricorn or Oblivicorn. They're both good against Kaito, and Oblivicorn is good against some of Rosalind's Pokemon, but that's about it.
Uhm, sorry to bother but is there a fire type pokemon you recommend? I am on the beach town so far.
No worries, I'm happy to help! Pahar is the earliest option for a fire type. You can find it at Route 4.
@@Sylaphy oh cool, thanks
Please do pokemon clover pokemon guide please
Hmm, maybe. I do like Pokemon Clover, but some of the Pokemon may have to be censored or something. I'll think about it. :)
What edeting software do you use
Adobe Premiere Pro
Hey sylaphy, would you recomend more to use tubareel + navighast or escartress + oblivicorn?
That's tough, but I'll go with Escartress + Oblivicorn. You can't go wrong with the Water/Ground combo.
@@Sylaphy And generaly you'd prefer oblivicon or navighast?
@@phatogdaphantom7495 Oblivicorn for sure. It's harder to get, but it has the better typing.
I liek this gaem
Me too!
