  • Hi fellow dog lover!🐶 My dog Billie had so many behavior problems… she was jumping, peeing inappropriately, overly aggressive, pulling on the leash… she was just crazy…🤪 Then I found this one solution that stopped all the problems!🙌 The sad fact was…The training I first tried with my dog was a complete fai...lure.😔 I went through the average cookie-cutter training programs. These programs used outdated and ‘mean’ dominance techniques. It turns out those programs had no qualifications and were developed by complete phonies.😱 So this is what I did to stop my dog’s behavior problems... In a few simple words… I discovered my dog’s hidden intelligence!🧠
Let me explain… In my years as a dog owner…this is the one big lesson I have learned. More intelligent dogs are better behaved.👍 A more intelligent dog takes commands easier…and understands what you need from them. What I found out was… No matter how clever I thought my dog was. I could still unlock my dog’s hidden intelligence quickly and easily!😄 Don’t waste a second longer putting up with your dog's behavior problem! I’ll explain everything you need to know in the link!😁

How to Train Your Dachshund | Best Dachshund Puppy Training Tips
Dachshunds are among the world's most popular dogs, primarily due to their tiny stature. However, it would be a mistake to think that owning one is cheap - the care and feed of these dogs can be rather pricey. Dachshunds are not big dogs, but that does not mean they do not have courage.
Dachshunds can sometimes attack other giant animals and even those much larger than themselves, such as badgers. In the past, dachshund owners often used their eared dogs for hunting the fabled badger, so the innate drive of a dachshund is to be nimble and quick-moving. Dachshunds need strong leadership from the beginning, and owners should be in charge. If you start by ceding control over them, they will be inclined towards destructiveness.
You're wondering how easy it is to train a dachshund or what basic training you need to do with your new dachshund. Maybe you have adopted an adult dachshund and want to know if it's too late for them to start training?

I started training my boy at 8 weeks old. 2 most important things for me was NO Bark and NO digging! I praised him with treats! He also learned to play his own games outside ( even with his favorite balls) I'm disabled and knew I couldn't always go outside and play with him. Now he's 2 years old and loves to make up his own games and he only barks when he's treed a squirrel or the doorbell rings! LoL He's such a a jewel! His name is Hatchi. Meaning Good Fortune! What Joy he has added in our lives❤

We have a 16 year old Dachshund and walks 4 times a day 30 till 40 min per round . She has her own bench and get two times a day food , dog food and not what we eat because that's not good. Because she is old and has heart problem we go every year to the pet doctor and she keeps a eye on her health. Hour dog is still full of life. ❤❤❤❤❤

I was raised by 3 dachshunds - and Joey once took on and beat up a full grown German Shepherd. Joey was a mini dachshund. That Shepherd, once bitten by a mini dachshund, turned his tail and bravely fled, taking his human with him. Joey dragged us (myself and Jennie and Joanie) over 200 yards trying to get that Shepherd. Fun times.

The old owners of my adopted dachshund didnt give him a lot of exercise and let him socialize with other dogs, he attacked my older aspin dog a few days ago. Hes about 3 years old so can he still be trained? He also bites and is irratic whenever we put anything close to his nails (even though its very long).
Would it be sudden for him if he suddenly walks Everyday?

Fiancée and I are planning on getting a Dachshund next year after we are fully established in our new house under construction. Im trying to learn all I can about the breed and how to be the best fur daddy now. Any thoughts on getting two at once - would love to get two sisters so they have a constant playmate. We have a large house, 3 acres, and work from home so we will always be around.

Rescued a 10 yr old dachshund recently as the local Humane Society. Have had dachshunds before. Hair so matted she has to be shaved. Live rural in an acre of ground fenced in. No Way I would ever crate or tie up a dog outside. I suspected this happened to her. She won't go out unless I go out with her. To me, it's cruel.

People can do whatever they want, I just couldn’t imagine leaving a puppy in a crate for 12 hours. Have fun with the mess.

They need so much attention and training there very difficult dogs.

Amen Mary! Crates are used by lazy cruel owners. My Dachshund was pee pad trained right away ASAP when he was born. He is 5 now and has never peed anywhere in a big house but his pee pad. Has not pooped anywhere in the house but his pee pad. SO he is free to enjoy life and be a part of the family. He even has his own room. Never not once has he had a pee/poo accident.

    • @berrymucuckiner4890
      @berrymucuckiner4890 11 месяцев назад +3

      Nice!
So your dog essentially still pees and poops inside your house good job!
My properly crate trained dachshund has not peed or pooped inside of the house for several years
This is because of his proper crate training, where he spends very little time in the crate with the door closed
He will now wait at the door and signal you that he needs to go outside
Have fun buying Pee pads and disposing of smelly nasty pads

@@berrymucuckiner4890 How negative of you to not be curious about other methods of house training! I taught our previous female dachshund to signal to go out in two weeks. She lived on tile floor in the kitchen until then. They stayed outside while we slept or were at work--in a heated dog bed with wool blankets on a covered porch. They had an insulated, heated dog house for the really bad weather nights. There are other methods.
