I'd like to see Ford put back the things they took away like multi contour seats in upper trims. Ambient lighting removed from cupholders and doors. Heated steering wheel.
I would bet that stuff will come back for 24 but will be gone on 25s again like they did with 21s and 22s. But I guess we will see. Thank you for watching and commenting!
I have a '22 F150 Powerboost, 502A, Lariat and love it! The only way they could improve this truck is to make it a plug in hybrid. I don't mind any of the refreshes.
@@ColeCulture So much of my driving is local driving, well within 35 kms per day. I think that a good percentage of my driving could be achieved on electric only with a PHEV. Then when I head out of town, the hybrid operation would take over. A PHEV would compliment an otherwise excellent truck for me, although it's not a deal breaker.
2.7 hybrid would be a great addition honestly.. I have the 2.7 with the 2KW generator mode and its an incredible motor. Powerful and efficient. Adding hybrid option to that motor with a bigger generator option would be great.. I used it a couple times in places where I was the only truck being able to power my camping utilities.. Just a great feature.
I currently own a couple 2.7s and more of the 3.5 EBs for the company and also have my personal '22 Powerboost. Not sure why you would prefer the 2.7 for a hybrid? Maybe as an additional platform, but to replace it............. nah. The 3.5L EB paired with the electric motor has been dead nuts reliable and a beast.
I'm waiting till I see what the 2024 has to offer before I buy a 2023. Still driving a 16 150 with no problems just want an update. Thanks for the video
Thank you for watching and commenting! If your in SoCal they are doing 0% APR for the 4th of July sale on 2023 F150 XLTs. It may be worth checking out if the deal applies to you.
A vertical screen will be a total deal breaker for me. I love the King Ranch trim but it scares me how they might make it to where King Ranch has it as standard or to get more luxury options, it would require the vertical screen, kind of how ram does it. Ive already been debating about getting either a Ford or a GMC so if the vertical screen gets added, gmc will be a clear winner
Best thing about this refresh is I have zero desire to upgrade. The new headlights/ front end are terrible. The 21-23’s look much better. I’ll happily keep my 2022 until then next major redesign and hopefully it won’t be as fugly as the 2024 lol
Horrible the LED C shape around the headlights cannot be beat in my opinion. I am with you on the interior as well. Ford did not need this refresh. Tail lights are horrible too.
Amazing, how they actually get away with a sloppily placed tablet display, to replace separately built gauges and switches. Save themselves money, yet charge extra for it.
LImited slip rear differential would be nice...That is why I now have a Ram 1500...I was an F150 owner for over 20 years and wanted another one but since Ford eliminated the limited slip option they lost me to Ram.
@@ColeCulture You drive with an open diff all the time unless you engage the e-locker...Drive open diff with a pick up truck in the rain especially when making turns...1 tire the one with least resistance will only spin...Why do you think most cars come standard with limited slip? Unless they are front wheel drive or all wheel drive cars typically are not open diff.
Hi Do you need some great lighting for your car to help you better driving, off-road. We're the pro auto lighting manufacturer for nearly 20 year and we're looking for doing sponsorship!
I like the vertical screen, but also want a volume and tuning knob as well as hard buttons for the heated and ventilated seats. I've seen Joe Raiti trying to use the screen controls while vehicle was sitting and it was difficult even then. I would have though Ford learned their lesson 10 years ago when they tried removing knobs and everyone hated it.
I’m not sure but I think the open every 3ish months. But after Covid everything has changed so don’t take my word for it. To find out for sure I’d ask a local dealership.
Absolutely I would. Currently I think Ford has the best half ton pickups. But if I felt that Chevy or Dodge or Toyota had something better to offer me then I’d for sure get one. I’d probably never get a Nissan though. That’s no hate on them but they have really low safety ratings the last time I checked.
I don't want a full plug in hybrid. For me personally, it will be a huge hassle to have to plug it in to charge. I need a gas engine for as long as possible or at most a non plugin hybrid.
@xxk4rilsxx cost isn't an issue right now but it will be when a majority of people are over laoding the grid. It's only a matter of time before the power companies increase rates to make up for extra demand. It's location, time and the fact I don't want to plug in my car every night. I honestly don't think EV's are the way to go or the answer to the "climate change" narrative that's being shoved down our throats.
I personally don’t see ford coming out with a plug in hybrid truck. I wouldn’t want one either but I could see why someone would. But mostly I don’t see them coming out with one because the person who would by the plug in would probably just buy a lightning. The current powerboost is a amazing truck and even though I love my 5.0, I truly think the current type of powerboost is the future. It’s extremely efficient and powerful. I don’t really subscribe to the “everything will be electric one day” theory. Mostly because I don’t see how it would be possible and if it became possible it’s still less ethical than combustion engines with smaller cylinders and a regeneration hybrid system. That’s just my current thoughts, obviously things can change. Thank you both for the thoughtful comments and participating in this community.
It's not so much the garage charging I'd worry about. Being on the road and needing a charge can be a hassle. When I'd be able to go 600 miles on a charge and be able to recharge in under 10 minutes, I'd think about it.

Wait... What? What year had the best options/features before they took it away?
@@ItIsJustDan That would be 2021. I also missed temp readouts on the dials, bed camera and spare tire lock.

I had a 2015 2.7 and man i miss that thing for fuel economy

Just why ford 2023 was
Perfect
21+ model years are really good looking in my opinion so I agree with you.

Yeah i personally hate that type of screen. It less functional and if it goes out then you can’t control anything in your truck anymore.
Instead of the Titans copying Ford's style it looks like the F150 has a Titan like front end. Can't wait to see the finished product
A video on it will come soon but I’m not the biggest fan of the way it looks.
Too early to call, but i like the existing look. Agree with u on looks and interior as well.
I agree it is early to call. Thank you for watching and commenting!

Agreed lol
When are they announcing it tho? I need to order my Raptor as soon as orders can go in.
Probably in the next two months
i hope they bring back the max recline seats
Me too that’s a cool feature!

Yeah I’m not a big fan of the changes
I agree with you on the looks. I really dislike the current leadership at ford.
Yeah I’m not sure what’s going on.

Yup you hit the nail on the head

But they have had the full locking rear which is better. Why do you like the limited?
@@ColeCulture Because the locking diff sucks...IMO.
Calling B.S
I don’t understand why it sucks. Maybe you can explain it to me.

I would love to see one of these trims with a plug in hybrid
It may be coming
The vertical screen and no buttons sucks
Yeah it would suck if that’s the only high end option they give us.

I hate this refresh lol. The headlights, taillights, and grill are terrible

Chinese eBay headlights and tail lights
Yeah that headlights look like that for sure
Would you ever get a Chevy truck? Just asking

It’s not that expensive if that’s the issue. I paid 680$ to get a charger installed in my garage.
