Your right it’s probably would. And the upper bumper trim or “Valance” doesn’t fit with my knock off grille so I have to get a OEM Raptor one for it to fit.
whered you get the raptor grille? link? i keep finding unreviewed ebay stuff... yours looks great! im looking at purchasing a 2021 KR w/ 5.0 and putting a whipple, fiberwerx front and rear and dirt king suspension
You had better luck with Fiberwerx than I did, but that was 20 years ago. Mine was a fiasco from the time I got there until way after I got it home. They were a pretty new company then. I ended up doing 1/2 the work myself, with one of the owners over two days on what was supposed to be a one day job. Coming from over 100 miles away, with no car, the owner let me borrow one of his, and I found a motel to spend the night. The trip home was crazy, having to jury rig some parts with a stop at a luckily still open Home Depot, literally for duct tape and bailing wire. That kept the hood and bedsides from flapping and or flying away. It was not a great experience driving from their shop near San Diego to the San Fernando valley was not fun. I was able to fix all the stuff they forgot to do, and make everything work and look OK, they also gave me a bit of a price break, since I had to go buy all the hardware they didn't have. That and the bedsides were really bad examples with horrible orange peal and a few places on the fender cutouts that were paper thin. Sorry for the rant, but I have since had really good service and great parts and finish from Advanced Fiberglass Concepts. I would try Fiberwerx again, if Advanced didn't make the same part.
I did the swap myself on the prior generation and am now considering this. Did this include raptor suspension from a prior generation? Have you tracked the build somewhere or have a build sheet available?
I have tracked to build myself. And as far as I know I’m the first on RUclips to have done this. My suspension is pretty much untouched right now. Which is why I haven’t done a price build break down video yet. But I would be done if you put a Baja kit’s suspension on or even icons new 3.5 to 4.5inch suspension system.
Dude it’s totally not worth it unless you love trying to make a bunch of custom stuff and have a bunch of money, total that I’m in right now with zero suspension changes is about 25k
@@ColeCulture man it’s look like Hennessey raptor u just need to put Hennessey badge that’s it u done. By the way now days Hennessey raptor are like touching the sky 210k msrp . Brabus g wagon territory 😅
Yeah that’s the whole point of my build. My truck will be a supercharged v8 that looks like a raptor on 37s or 40s in the future with suspension that rivals the raptor. All for hopefully under 100k. Which would be cheaper than a normal raptor, raptor R and Hennessy velociraptor.
Yes. I’m waiting for the diode Dynamics headlights to come out. I think they look great and have amazing functionality. If you haven’t seen them you should look into them.
im not hating or anything I do love to see a guy make his truck his own BUT with this much after market work done to this truck you gotta expect a lot of issues/obstacles
I bought it from fiberwerx. They had an extra one. But you can also get it through Ford parts. It’s not on yet because it only fits with a oem raptor/ raptor R grille.
Hmm. Point of video is understood but desert truck dudes don’t give a crap about those tiny issues. We worry about whether the thing got ripped off by a mesquite bush. Orange peel? Tape lines? 😂😂😂
Totally agree. But how many desert truck dudes have brand new trucks that they are doing this to. It’s typically an older truck. Which you can still poor a lot of money into but it’s just me trying to maintain the status of the brand new truck ya know. This isn’t a beater, clearly. It’s my attempt at a conversion on a truck year that doesn’t have many people who have done it yet or at least at that time. Thanks for commenting and watching.
Real Raptor is still more expensive and that’s not even talking about the Raptor R which is what my truck will compete with. I also like the build process and it gives me something to share with you guys
Understand the only thing that stood the Raptor out was a taller coil bucket in the front until the 3rd gen which now offers a real 4 link. You can take a cheap XLT or Lariat with the 5.0 and supercharger. Then purchase billet parts which are stronger than stock (on the Raptor) and turn it into something that will literally outperform a stock Raptor for a cheaper price tag after parts and labor.
Sounds like most of your dislike comes from whoever did the paint job.
Yeah pretty much
And I think they were all things that could have been avoided if it wasn’t rushed ya know?
Seems like a nice buff/polish would solve most of your complaints. Where is the upper bumper trim?
Your right it’s probably would. And the upper bumper trim or “Valance” doesn’t fit with my knock off grille so I have to get a OEM Raptor one for it to fit.
I think you have a great looking truck! Glad to see an update!
Thank you sir! Love you see your comments

I’ve only heard positive comments about advanced but like you said they didn’t make anything for the F-150. Thank you for watching and sharing.
For the fuel there is just an adjustment no need to purchase another neck
Really? Everyone else I’ve talked to cuts and extends it. I have done it yet so I may have to take a deeper look.
@@ColeCulture yeah you should be able loosen the hose and slide it out unless it has changed drastically from 2020 f150

@@ColeCulture thanks! I appreciate the reply. It looks great!
Oem bumper would complete the look
It would have but I wanted something more aggressive looking that would add some protection.
@@ColeCulture you’re right I hella like the look all red 🍒
How much for the total build not including price of truck?

Where did you buy the whitebody?
Wide body fenders are from fiberwerx
Awesome looking truck
Thank you. Still needs a lot of work but I really appreciate it
Who installed the fenders for you I purchased fenders and need to have them installed
Fiberwerx
Is that Hennessey velociraptor bumper?
It is just with a wrench

Let me know what you think?
@@ColeCulture
I personally like the OEM LED headlights look better or the Raptor one
Hey man are your flares painted or it’s actual plastic?
It’s apart of the fender and is just painted
Looks good overall. The details.. I get it!
Thanks. I really appreciate your comment!
Is it supercharged
Not yet
How much was it for them to get installed?
Just install or paint and all?
@@ColeCulturepaint and all. Including glass

How did you end up getting the raptor style valance for the grille?
I bought it from fiberwerx. They had an extra one. But you can also get it through Ford parts. It’s not on yet because it only fits with a oem raptor/ raptor R grille.

Why didn’t you just trade out into a raptor
Cheaper doing it this way plus i enjoy the build process
@@ColeCulture nothing wrong with that and you have the 5.0 that’s what a real raptor should have lol
Agreed lol 😂 👍🏼
It’s a nice truck but like you said it’s not perfect. Still sorry of your outcome.
I appreciate your comment and it’s all a learning experience.
All that money to make it become a reality why didn’t you just buy a real raptor?
