- The most exhausting #motorcycle days of the entire Trans Euro Trail motorcycle off road adventure. Right after starting had a crash on the offroad, after which we encountered even more more obstacles - a few landslides, did some gardening in the form of cutting branches off a large fallen tree blocking the way. Later in that day weran across - don't hold your breath - snow.
Finding a place to stay was also quite a challenge, we end up after dark with almost 0 fuel left in an awesome place and had the chance to contemplate the incredible stuff we’ve just been through.

Wow. Just wow. Greece is absolutely diverse. I already knew this for a long time, but to keep reminding me of such incredible scenery is making me wish to get a Motorcycle license. I went to Greece 3x this year in various spots as I love to drone, but this is certainly a way of traveling in Greece I haven't experienced yet. But it looks like such a great experience to me.
Looking out to getting a drone myself, what do you fly?
@@motorcyclingTo The Phantom 4 pro. To me it's amazing. I just started and have 2 movies in Greece on my channel from winter time and summer time but let me know what you think of it!

I have a third one coming up in a couple of weeks or so.
PS. Everything is in 4k, so check this in the highest quality possible on full screen
Together with the other couple of video's of Greece you guys absolutely have shown an insight in Greece's spectacular scenery. Really amazing. Big thumbs up
"This" Greece came as a surprise to us too, until then we only went to the beaches, sea side, not mountains and offroad. Beautiful country!
My wife send me to your channel guys, and you really rocks !!! I'm so found of Greece road and trail, and You've done a great jobs to render how this country is fascinating and hard and love at the same time!!! V
Thank you so much Bruno:) say hi to your missus :)
As always guys, GREAT camera work, GREAT RIDING, and AMAZING scenery. When we plan a trip somehow we NEVER plan on the fallen trees or boulders! (If we DID we would carry a chainsaw and and a proper shovel!!! Instead we pack a large KNIFE!!!) Still incredible journeys gentlemen. Thank you for bringing us along!!
Thank you for sharing, this was an amazing adventure, great filming and editing. Ride safe!

Fabtastic vid chaps.Great to see the v-strom doing the hard yakka!
Yeah I've got the '17 650 strom & to see the 1000 strom doing the (let's face it dangerous stuff)gives me confidence. One false move on those slopes & you're walking.
"You're walking" - if you're lucky :))))
You guys rock! Awesome
Foarte frumous
I just love watching you guys ride. I can only hope to ride my VStrom 1000 nearly as good as Vladimir someday.
Thank you mate. To be honest I hope that too (Mihai typing) :))
Felicitări! Îmi face placere sa ma uit la voi.
Multumim!
At 10.33 the route is now fixed. I went there at August and ran to the same dead end as you guys and turned back and followed the main road. After about a month, the new version of the Greek TET was released and no longer goes that route so you dont end up there!
I have a video on my channel where i too got stuck there!
Good to know... that is why I always post the "Download the latest map" disclaimer, the TET changes alot and it's always a good idea to get the latest version of the map before leaving. Thanks for the comment!
You guys are living my dream, beautiful ⛰️🌍
Glad you liked it - new video coming up tomorrow :D
Good good
You guys are amazing. Fabulous riding and wonderful video work and always smiling! Ride safe
Thank you mate! That's the essence of life I guess :))
Now I'm hoping for one day I can do tour like you both did. Or may be join with you guys.
Love from Indonesia ❤
Great video 👍
hi! great pictures, good riding!
Great video guys!!
A lot of dogs around. Amazing riding guys....
Thank you mate, they're allright if you don't allow them to get in front of the bike and make sure they see you in time
Hello, I just discovered your channel and subscribed to it within 5 minutes. It looks like I will be binge watching for the rest of the day. 0:))) Great adventures and fantastic video work. One small detail: I can't believe that Vlad is till using bungee cords to secure his bags! Ride safe. An American rider in Rome. Just passing through for now. Cheers
What's wrong with bungee cords?
@@mzetz2003 Not always reliable. I had one about 10 years ago that broke and ended up around my chain at about 60 kmh! The result was not pretty! I have only used rock straps for the last 10 years and rode about 200,000 kilometers with no problems! I don't kind people using bungees if they like too I just don't think they are reliable especially off road! Just my 2 cents!
I used Rox straps too until one of the plastic buckles broke. Ever since I have been using this type of straps - www.decathlon.co.uk/45m-wide-straps-x2-id_8333354.html
They have crazy load ratings, used one to pull Vlad's motorcycle out of the snow.
New subscribe nice ride so awesome. I really appreciated. I'm from Philippines 🇵🇭
Thank you mate, glad you liked it :D
COOL
Incredible ride, the stuff dreams are made of !
Wow, thank you mate. Like share and subscribe :))))
Wow. Fist time I've see the V-Strom crash. I was beginning the think that guy was invincible!
Crashing in this kind of terrain with these kind of loaded bikes is kind of inevitable actually :D
You have not seen all the videos then! :))
:)))))
great video again!!!
Thank you Peter :D
Great adventures and movie editing. Really enjoying watching your movies. Hello from USA. What GPS are you using?
Hi Vladimir - thank you. The gear for this particular trip was like this: 2 GoPro cameras (they have built in GPS for recording the data I've used in the speed/altitude overlays and I have recoded the track (I uploaded here for example - motorcycling.to/tet-greece/everything-in-one - each video has its own page with the stats and track) using my Garmin Fenix watch.
Ditunggu episode selanjutnya... l from indonesia
Nice vid n nice country B-)
Maybe taking a saw next time ?...
:))))
Keyifle izledim muhteşem teşekkür ederim
Thank you!
Great fun.
Guys, you are perfect:-)
Hi, very nice trip your guys made, also a great video report. What tires are you running on your V-strom? Keep up the riding and the reports 👍
Thank you :) On both motorcycles we had the Mitas E07 + (rear Dakar, front regular)
TET Greece looks class
Oh, it's pretty spectacular. Other than some forrest sections (which provide challenges of their own) the scenery and the sea are absolutely amazing.
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👍👍👍👍👍👍
Nice video,but i think a DF200 is a much better idea.
Right - recently got a CRF 300 - totally different story than the big KTM - ruclips.net/p/PL3QQ74szNegaH4Pjpz4QChb4vDIsh4MSE
super cool! what kind of navigation software are you using on your mobile?
We used both maps.me and OSMAnd.
I am hoping to get a V-Strom 1050 XT in the next couple of months. I have just found your channel, I am so impressed where you have been able to take the V-strom, what tyres are you using?
Hi Don!
In this trip I had Mitas E07+ on the back wheel and Heidenau K60 Scout on the front.
At that time there wasn't available size E07+ for front wheel.
@@mzetz2003 Thank you, I have a Mitas EO8 on the back of my DR800S , but I will put Mitas EO7 front and back on the V-Strom.
Congratulations
Hi guys! Your videos of TET Greece and some one elses videos of ACT Greece made me inspired and I got my motor license yesterday! Still no motor and all.
But I have a few questions. When exactly did you do this trip in Greece? I was thinking of doing it in may. But is this in may? Because this video was uploaded in November. So Im confused.
Now the other question. I live in the Netherlands and love Greece for it's incredible landscapes. I have actually my own drone channel of Greece and know a lot about the landscapes. But without motor I cannot access all of it, hence I have the license now. However. I live in the Netherlands and not in Greece. So I don't know what motor I should buy. Netherlands may be more of a county for maybe harley's or sports while in Greece a tour motor like many have when being in the mountains is better. I can't go with a harley there haha. Would be very unwise.
So. I would almost get to the issue that I may have to rent a motor in Greece. Do you guys have any experience with renting a good motor for landscapes like in Greece, in Greece or generally?
And would you recommend it? I mean I don't have many alternatives. Unless I would have a tour motor in the Netherlands. But then it would also mean I have to drive to Greece with the motor. Im not so sure... I wouldn't want to do 2400 km of highways. I was inspired to do such landscapes like in Greece, not to have endless highways (which is dangerous still)
Wow, great to hear that, glad you got your license :D
Now, we left for Greece on the 30-th or 31-th of April.. May seems to be one of the best months because it is not very hot. Mid summer over 40C is not uncommon. So I'd advise either Spring or Fall to go riding there.
Not very sure about any advice on renting a bike there, you totally have a point it's not worth to drive that distance if your only goal is to ride around in Greece. Message me on FB, I will share with you some Greek friends who can help you with some renting recommendations.
My first motorcycle vas a Suzuki V-Strom 650, can't recommend it more as a first bike, absolutely loved it. The bike is very versatile, more than capable of 2-up riding, it allows you to do some exploring offroad, I have even rode it on a track ( ruclips.net/video/F0sz4JJ8z08/видео.html ), more than capable for a beginner.
@5:22 LOL!
...geniali oamenii :)
Hey !
Is it possible to know the title of the fist music track ( 0.30 ) ? It's AMAZING !!
Thank you :)
Hey, the track is "Knight's Templar" by Adriel Fair.
@@motorcyclingTo You, sir, are a saint and a savior !
@@Behornn - that's new :D
Nice vids. Btw is there a reason why there is no Estonian sticker?
Thank you :) - there was a mixup when I ordered the stickers, they dis not include Estonia in the bundle :(
What app do you use for navigation? And how do you get your HUD info in your video. Good job BTW.
Thank you mate :) for navigation we used maps.me and OSMAnd phone apps. The overlay is kind of complicated to add to the video. We filmed using GoPro Hero 7 cameras that GPS receivers which collect the data. To add them to the videos I used Dashware in combination with an automation software, complicated business as GoPro's software is EXTREMELY limitated and Dashware can only add the overlay to one video at a time. Long story short I created a script in ZAP Tese to go through the videos and automate the Dashware workflow for 140+ individual clips that make this video. All the videos in this .series are around 130-160 individual clips so the overlay needed to be added individually to each of them. Hence the ZAP Test automation software.
motorcyclingTO nice overlay. So minimalist yet sufficient information. The speed, the elevation & time. It just what we need as a rider... when u said it is complicated to put into video. Its ok
I will use the stock overlay only provided.
Bellissimo video !! E`possibile avere il nome di qualche posto dove siete passati? Mi piacerebbe vederli .Grrazie
Hi Robert - take a look at motorcycling.to/tet-greece - for every video there is a post where you will see the actual track we recorded. To see where an exact place is match the time of day on the video telemetry to the map, should pinpoint the exact coordinates.
