Secret gear kickdown tip noone knows. I have a 06 vue redline.. bought new in 06. When rolling anywhere between 40 - 70 mph.. I double press the accelerator to the floor fast and hold to floor on 2nd press to kick down 2 or 3 gears. It gets angry fast and loud.

I have a non-redline with 216k and it's still running strong. It has the same 3.5 vvt engine with a 5 speed auto-trans. It still runs like a top and pulls like a beast when you drop the hammer. Please keep this going and give me ideas!
02-06 are the most gorgeous redlines! I bought my 04 and put a nice aftermarket muffler on it and removed resonator and she sounds lovely! Replaced all the bushing with polyurethane and put kyb struts up front and it rides relatively smooth. Almost everyone that has driven mine loved it so much that they went out and bought one. There are 5 of us with gray 04 redlines. Looking for a supercharger to put on it by next yr.
Acceleration trick. Get to a safe area open road etc.. after 40 mph.. if you quickly stab/floor the throttle pedal to the floor 2 times in a row and hold the pedal to the floor on 2nd stab.. it will hold the passing gear longer. Took me 4 years to figure out. Let me know what u think. Have fun.

I've been looking into replacement Struts for the front, but found out I can't just replace them with any Vue in the junkyard because of the 1inch drop. Do you have a recommendation on that? Is that true? Or do you think it's possible to slap them on and just suffer with the 1 inch raise up?
Hey having some problems with my v 6 Saturn red line 2006 replace the antifreeze holder but light on the inside want go off. Steam coming from under hood. This Saturn has no radiator. Don't no why having steam. SC help.
Any ideas on swapping to a 5 speed manual,eco tech ? I know I need the bcm and harness from the donor.but I need a tech for the relearn procedure and park neutral switch.
Please when you say how much you have into the vehicle because you are a mechanic fish up with labor shop cost if one had to have you do it that way we could see the real savings.

Found a 06 Redline blk on blk with 56500 miles, left in garage for 10 years with front broken bumper, lady took 1200 😊

I picked up a 2006 AWD VUE 3.5 last week .. only has 29,000 miles on it .. old man car .. never over 50 MPH ..
Sick. I'd suggest cleaning out the fuel system. Under 50 mph may not allow the cleaners in the gas to keep your injectors and fuel system clean.

Yes the vue has a honda j series j35 3.5l v6 and they are very very nice on the inside designed for the reliability and performance engine.

They are great vehicles. If you just put it in second gear it will take off in first and when it goes to second it will shift at 6k instead of 5400.

Yeah you got to have a aem ecu and then a custom harness and it would cost way to much at this point.
