This is actually the first thing I preordered in my entire life. Can't wait to see it. Hope it proves to be a challenge opening it.

Having a collection of their puzzle boxes, it's definitely a rewarding feeling when you finally get it open... A former roommate of mine nearly woke up an entire city street, when they finally got the first puzzle box open... 😆

Just received mine! And I got my favorite number (13) according to a sticker on the plastic. Struggling to open it though!
I love the look of this challenge coin. Also, the treasure hunt looks to be interesting. This is going to be fun.
I pre-ordered last night as my Covid Survival present. This'll be the first puzzle box of this kind that I've done. Looking forward to it!
The online community is pretty tight lipped about the solutions for previous puzzle boxes, but I'm gonna guess you'll crack the Kraken! 😄

I finally solved it, only took a couple of hours spilt between yesterday when i got and today after i woke up. Not sure which path a took

I have a cool trick. There's a way to escape if you have your hands cuffed or even chained such that they're around a loop of aircraft cable, like clothesline, and that cable is attached on both ends to something that can't be moved, like a concrete wall, metal pipe or something, so it's like two interlocked flexible loops. It just has to be something flexible and thin enough that you can push it through the cuffs or chain between it and your wrist. You just push it through and then over your hand from front to back. So it's a loop of the cable, like U shaped, and you move it over your hand so the loop is then at the back of your wrist instead of the front. You can then just pull it right through the cuffs and you're out. The cuffs are still on your hands but you're off the cable completely and can just walk away. If you didn't know how to do it you would think it impossible but it's ridiculously easy. You can also do the reverse and put yourself back onto the cable, if you happened to want to. Same procedure, push the cable U-loop through from the inside and over your hand and you're back on.
The beauty is that it doesn't have to be cuffs, which everybody knows are easy to pick, it could be shackles bolted on. It works because your arms, body and the shackles are not actually a closed loop, your hands are not attached to the chain, they're just inserted through a ring of metal and there's space between it and your wrists so it's not a closed loop, your hand is the unattached end, so moving the cable over your hand removes it. It looks freaky the first time you see it.

I handed it to my 4yo daughter after two weeks. She figured it out on her second try. She said, "A long, long time ago my grandpa, Catboy Owlette John Hayes, told me how to open it using 'The Old Symbol Way.'"

Just got mine today. I don't think it was suppose to work like this, but I was holding both pieces while turning it over and it just kind of opened after I got about halfway.
I feel like a scoundrel, but that wasn't exactly the wild ride as the instructions would suggest. How about we call it the Irishman's way.

I did find a legit way in shortly after. It *sounds a bit odd* and I may be spreading *false* news but I think I found the Gentleman's way in. Perhaps you could *pin* my comment if you figure out this bit of clever wording and I have it correct?
