Raw footage, mountains and adrenaline... I only miss snow, but this is absolutely insane! This really tranfers the essence of this experience! Keep it coming guys!
sickkk When the dude mentioned that they have been going for half an hour I couldn't believe it. Had to check the timer and wow... The mountain range is so beautiful, it just captures you in the experience.
Can't believe all the negative comments. We all would be giddy and babbling if we had the chance to ride something so spectacular. This was awesome! enjoyed every minute of it.
at first I thought it was another 3 min video and the 31 mins looked like 3:10 to me but after the first 3 mins I checked and was like "wait thats half an hour?!" loool
Wow! Amazing video and awesome landscapes! I really love those raw GoPro-vids without music and cuts and so on! P.S: Can't wait for my next holidays in the alps starting next week! :)
i would have a heart-attack at those techincal ridges, like woah,... no thanks. im scarred of heights, but i do big drops on my dh bike and hardtail / trail bike (5footer's too 25footers, which are super scary if u ask me, esp by me where the 15+ foot drops are in thick woods/trails in NYC)
1. type "Stefano" in google translate and listen to how it's said. 2. respect the hikers, you're the one out of place. 3. please don't mess up the trails, they require maintenance even without people doing DH on them. TBH you can have a great time there just by hiking, or try rock climbing. I'd like to see you get up there without the gondola anyway...
1. He pronunces Stefano with an American accent,I would love to hear you speak english,i am Italian myself and I know for a fact that we have one of the worst accents possible when speaking English. 2. Respectcthe hikers is correct, but even better respect each other,no matter if your a hiker, climber mountainbiker or whatever.we are all children of this Earth and noone is out of place.i hate the attitude of hikers saying you're not supposed to be here because of this and of that. 3.they did absolutely not mess up any trail here, riding very cautiously.and by the way, that was no DH ride even if he was on a triple crown fork! Google DH ride and watch what that is all about. I'm a mountainbiker myself and I'm sorry,I enjoy it a lot more then hiking or climbing because for me it's a lot more fun.everyone is free to choose his "weapons"!
Great video - well done! Raw, no music. Love it! But... Richie, sorry, but I don´t like your attitude on this video. We don´t want this kind of people in the Alps. I can see it in your words and your actions that you think you are the king on this little trails. You should respect hikers and you should yield them! Reality is: you are riding on illegal trails (BTW: I love to ride there too). I can´t see too much love towards nature and the mountain (you are damaging trails - Can´t you corner switchbacks?). And BTW, we try to keep the spots secred to avoid hot spots. So upload clips but don´t tell where it is. If you want to learn from the Alpine masters check out e.g. the Vertriders. And if you start riding at 5pm from the top, the hikers are all gone! :) However, you probably should go back to your bike park! You say: "We are probably the only people that ever m.biked here" lol... Keep on dreaming! ;) Red Bull, thanks for uploading! :)
I agree with most of this. He has some overly high self confidence and some of his comments speak to that. Kind of arrogant almost. Not in love with this guy and would not subscribe if he had his own channel, which he probably does. He also talks a crap ton. Some commentary is good, but he was running his suck non stop.
You don’t want what?... Ain’t you the one thinking the Alps is yours? Mr. Lessongiver, they are not yours, nor do they belong to hikers. Oh yeah, he’s a loud-mouthed American, so what? You like riding there too, and who’s gonna pay for the chopper to lift you out with your broken leg? Oh and you like to keep your little secret spot, but you thank RedBull for the video?
How do you know where to go? These are actual real trails maintained by some park authority?? if so that is amazing...like who makes sure the trails are still in good shape for the riders...
Raw footage, mountains and adrenaline... I only miss snow, but this is absolutely insane! This really tranfers the essence of this experience! Keep it coming guys!
I think that if a mountain bike rider has a spirit animal it would be a mountain goat :)
or maybe mountain tiger
Ioan Jones I hope you have technical biking skills on that
while sitting at my shop I rode with you I luv outdoors
Finally some an actual mountain bike vod that´s long. Damn that felt good.
1:47 oh man, that's steep!

When the dude mentioned that they have been going for half an hour I couldn't believe it. Had to check the timer and wow...
The mountain range is so beautiful, it just captures you in the experience.

Awesome!
I've been to this place several times because it's not far from my home.
Too close to the edge for me. That was exciting watching you and your guide tackle some extreme trails. Great video and scenery, that was spectacular.
Can't believe all the negative comments. We all would be giddy and babbling if we had the chance to ride something so spectacular. This was awesome! enjoyed every minute of it.

10:57 "once again the hikers mess up our ride". Did you try looking at it from their pov?
They can move a lot easier than a biker.
Damn, I wish there would be some footage of the first trip with Simmons and Tippie!

Location: Sentiero 606 and 619 descend from Marmolada.
I like this knar. You could use maxxis shortys on stuff like that on the front they grab some good grip on that chunky stuff.

I'm getting old because my self-preservation instinct is stronger than my wish of adventures. I wouldn't do that unless I devoloped a pair of wings.
the average person doesn't appreciate the fact its richie schley.....only my OGs know

Respect)
Your are really cool)))
Great vid, but aren't you concerned about trail erosion in the non-rocky spots?
Americans are discovering the mighty Europe :)!
EXCUSIEEE YOUR IN THE LINE
Che bello sentire gli italiani in questo video ahahahahah
The Marmolada is about 3200m high. Not 2600
Yes, but they started at Rifugio Fiacconi. It's over 2600m high.
you can't go down from the glacer
This is a good way to have MTB banned on Alps and to pubblish it on youtube make it perfect!
BTW remember: you too are a "Turist"
4. TH 4-For Lifestyle.
What bikes they have ??
They are riding on Rotwild bikes. Probably on the R.G1 FS. Richie Schley is a Rotwild factory rider.
