I know this kind of old post, but fighting poseidon in the beginning was a good thing considering we were as strong as we were in the end of gow2(we almost killed Zeus but athena saved him). I do agree for hades though. Poseidon would have taken a lot of story plus we had the help Gaia
The fact that he killed like 10 gods in a single day just shows how badass he is. He also killed hundreds of monsters, beasts, and undead soldiers. He killed 3 titans. Mans a beast
Hades is often portrayed as looking the most like their father Kronos, looking more “Titan like” than his brothers. I think it’s also why Zeus and Poseidon look normal/godlike and Hades looks more like a potato

The fact that this is the only boss in the entire series to also use a chained blade weapon like Kratos and that he is also hard to beat shows how difficult going up against someone like kratos is. The almost endless combos you can do with weapons like these would be infuriating fight against, god or not.

The souls are implied to be housed within the hooks themselves, not the actual person at least not in Kratos' case since he needs to have them equipped to summon souls. Hades seems to actually absorb them as part of his godly abilities though. So Hades' soul is trapped in his own weapons at this point.
I’m pretty sure when Kratos impales himself, he lost all of his powers of the Gods. Not just the hope from the box. So, Hades’ soul is probably just sorta floating around like dust.

Though it seems pretty likely that Windu would win given that he is a much, much more refined duelist, whereas Savage is little more than a savage brute. Greek Gods in this series can manipulate the size when they want to. In fact, we see Ares human size in God of War: Ghost of Sparta and giant size in God of War 1. Also, we see Kratos and Zeus grow to the size of giants in God of War 2.
No one is scared of anyone in this series lol. No matter how many juggernauts kratos kills, his very next opponent never seems worried about the outcome of their battle. Same w Kratos....I imagine it's because they're both coming off of winning streaks
Hades is the baddest boss in the whole franchise in a good way. His weapon is badass, the flaming helmet is too damn cool, and the spike on his body looks amazing. He just need some more exercise.
