On Your Tail (Demo) - Steam Deck OLED Full Playthrough

I've been looking forward to this game for a while, and it recently got a demo as part of Steam Next Fest. Figured I'd upload some Steam Deck gameplay to spread the love a bit.
The game runs really well on the OLED model, able to mostly keep a 90 FPS framerate. 60 FPS is completely trivial if you wanted to save some battery too. There are some weird level streaming issues when moving between key areas but I also experienced that on my main PC. They still have some time to polish things like that before release though.
I'd say the closest comparison this game has is Shenmue - you've got a compact, but detailed 3D world to explore with many characters to interact with. There is also an emphasis on gathering clues to solve mysteries, as well as a lot of mini-games to play. The main difference is the lack of martial arts combat mechanics, but this game is supposed to be more cozy and laid back than Shenmue, so if you like Animal Crossing or Nintendo DS classics like Professor Layton or Ace Attorney, than this should also be up your alley. It also stars a colourful cast of anthropomorphic characters so it has really varied character design with expressive artwork too.
The full edition of On Your Tail is slated to release later in 2024 on both Steam and Nintendo Switch. No precise release date has been confirmed at this time.
