Just finished it today and holy shit. It might just be the best story game I have ever played. I have absolutely no idea how this masterpiece got so much hate. I feel sorry for the people who expected it to be a straightforward adventure game as they will never see just how incredible this game truly is.
Guys, I'm coming late but did you see and understand the last picture of the game, when you come back to the main screen? I did it a long time after finishing the came and I was totally mind blown. The game as quite an happy ending if you combine this picture (the boat, but no clouds, and the background) and thoughts on the story (what if Ellie didn't came back?). Outstanding game.

Also, when ellie returns to the farmhouse, she’s in different clothes, looks showered, and is wearing dina’s bracelet, showing her and dina got back together and live in jackson.
The moral of the Last of Us Part 2: There's enough hate in this world. There's not nearly enough love. When it's in our reach, we should hold onto it, and never let it go. Especially when the world tempts us to hate even deeper than love.
It's "easier" to hate. It's "harder" to take a step back and really look at the value of things. Everyone lost so much because of revenge, and got nothing out of it. Only when they let go they were able to see that they had everything.
That's not really the moral of the game. It's more about acceptance and letting go of said love when it's needed. The game is about grief, and how people react to it, and how u have to move on from it. But I guess to some extent ur right

Saw this band ages ago live at The Grand in Ellsworth Maine with my mom and sister, and was just thinking about this song the other day as it’s been my favorite. They sound amazing live and I’m glad they got the opportunity to work with a high profile game and get more recognition, they certainly deserved it.

"Game" is too broad of a term, but for me, Part 1 is my favorite story across ANY medium. Ellie and Joel are my favorite two characters as well. I'm somewhere in the middle about Part 2 in terms of how good or bad it was, but what they chose to do to the players because of the storytelling is definitely unforgettable and hilarious.

I'm about to finsih my 9th playthrough of The Last Of Us Part 2. It's been a ride. I've played both games countless times and cannot wait for part 3. It's honestly helped, I was more happy and just felt alive again because of how good the games were. But if there's one thing I do know, is that this was so much more than just a game to me, it was my life, knowing I could sit down and forget about reality and just play the game. If part 3 turns out to be the same like the last 2 games, I'll be overcome with joy.
I've actually just come to the conclusion that this is the perfect song. I'm an electronic composer/producer and there is not a single thing I can identify as wrong or not perfect when I listen to this

I know they are capable enough to produce culture and media far beyond what modern media companies have to offer. Its sad because so many think backwards and think simply look at church attendance. However in order to build followers they need to pull people through things like this. I wish my church growing up had music at this quality; I certaintly would have looked forward to Sundays.

Man, I wish this played at the end when Ellie was remembering Joel. When Joel said he'd do it all over again this could've softly started in the background, getting more and more audible, till the end of the flashback and into the credits.

This song literally rips me apart inside. I only write sad songs, most of my listening material is fairly melancholy as well, obviously lol. Glad I came across it. This is very very good.
After completing the 2 games and experiencing the characters' stories, their internal conflicts, the environments and the lore of the world of The Last of Us... it's intense to say the least. There is a unique feeling for each person that enjoys the games but at the same time it seems to me that exits also a shared feeling for everyone. We try to define what it is but the soundtrack does it for you. I am left with a sadness and a feeling of wanting to know more about the lives of the characters and I turn to music to transport me to these places and moments. It's amazing, I close my eyes and it looks like Ellie is singing this song. Thanks to all the people who commented below, it's a pleasure to read everything, to find a playlist full of awesome music from people from the other side of the world who share the same feelings. I love this song, it's such a good love song, it reminds me of my cats, one of whom ran away 5 months ago and I never could find him. It's a depressing thing sure but beautiful in a way, if you like this kind of music there's a good chance you probably like classical music.
