On November 2nd, 2014, I had the honor of running the incredible New York City Marathon. After joining up with Shay Carl's Team UNICEF and raising nearly $4000 for charity (THANK YOU EVERYONE!), Kimberley and I were off to New York.
This marathon was incredible. It was by far one of the most amazing road marathons I have ever run. From spectator support to incredible volunteers, NYPD & FDNY. Over 50,000 people ran the marathon and MILLIONS of people came out to support along the sidelines. Just incredible.
A special thank you to Kimberley for joining me on this short adventure; to Shay Carl for asking me to be on the team with himself, Carlie, Raw & Derek; to all of you who came out to find me in the masses of runners; and to all who donated their hard-earned money to a great cause. THANK YOU ALL.

I ran the marathon as well. This was the first time since I got back Australia from the USA that I watched the race - thank you for capturing the feeling the marathon. That was an AWESOME recap of THE MOST fantastic Race!!! I just relived the marathon again - thank you!!!!

So I found out I got a 2017 New York mara place this morning and had to come straight here to get pumped for it. It's so good to watch it again knowing I'm going to do it! Love what you do man :)

This is probably still my favourite video on RUclips. I watched it before I ran the 2015 NYC marathon and watching it now brings me back to my nervous excitement of building up to the race. Great video and top channel!

According to your time: ure threshold pace is 04:54/km, Vo2max pace is 04:30/km, Repetition pace (anaerobic speed) 04:15/km. And you can run a 10k in 49mins and a half marathon in 01:49:07. 5:21/km pace during 3h46mins is impressive. For the SF 2014 Marathon you did even better 5:18/km. Respect. Credit to Jack Daniels for his on-line Running Calculator.

great vid.... and you still did it below 4hours in that wind ... after my first Marathon in Berlin 2014, I decided to bring my bones to New York 2015 ... already booked it ... and already nervous ... and freaking exited ... you should try out Berlin ... not that big ... but the place for records and also great atmosphere ...
