ive been following your art for quite a few years now and love your style btw. Im super interested in seeing more art tutorials, drawings, sketchbooks, studio tours ect...
This was so interesting! I barely make traditional art, especially with ink. I never understood all these supplies you could use, but this made it very clear. I love the tricks you figured out and decided to share.
I've been following you on Tumblr for ages and didn't know you were on RUclips! Yay! I'm definitely interested in seeing more tutorials like this. I'm not a digital artist, so pen, pencil and paper deffo more my thing. 😊 (Not that digital art is bad! Far from it!)
big fan of your tumblr and im so glad youre posting videos!! i do more digital pieces and this video has helped me write down some stuff i should definitely add to my traditional art supply box ❤️
Thank you so much for sharing your process, as well as all the thoughts behind it! It was both soothing and super helpful. To those reading this: consider becoming a kindness goblin: let's fill up comments sections with words of kindness. For example: compliments, helpful tips, something fun you'd like to share. Let's drown out the bigots and trolls by being kind, and show other kind people that they're not alone. ☘️
I love this piece, and I think I'll try out your suggestion for practicing line art. I've been a pencil artist for so long I'm really used to making lines and erasing over and over until I happen upon a line that looks good, so it's been really hard to transition to pens because I don't trust my ability to get a line right the first time.
I watch you on Deviantart, follow you on instagram and have watched your videos ever since you posted the process video of the two wolves (it has helped me a lot so thank you!) You're definitely an inspiration to me and I'd be interested in seeing more tutorials and maybe a sketchbook tour?
have you ever run into the issue of spreading your 100% dry lineart while trying to lay down your washes or is all the ink you use for your lineart not water-based?
1:40 She states she did the sketch digitally. So it’s still her drawing. This is just showing how she inks. (I know the comment is old, just answering in case anyone else also didn’t hear her say that.)

the only way this drawing could get any better is making the tail bigger and poofier, but it's extremely awesome as it is, so great job!

Is it really needed to sketch and use a lightpad to make nice artwork? I am trying to get really good myself but my drawings are not the best.
I haven't tried sumi ink. Do you know if it is similar to india ink for washes?
What brand is your lightbox?
wow amazing work we should do a collabe !
This is totally stunning!
is "tracing" an image really "drawing"?
