Same with Trump supporters, who are often Musk supporters too.
To be fair (I am in no way defending Tesla IN THE SLIGHTEST) the C6 Corvette has that battery problem lol. Had a moment where a battery died on one and I realized the door handles were electric. Had to look up a video to get into it, but that shows it's still doable on your own and therefore better than the Cyberdump.

Even if they generally know people are stupid , the sheer abyss of it is too much for a single individual to fathom.
Seems like it's be only be in 5 months until bankruptcy.
I am not ready to abandon the five year estimate yet. If the Tesla board fires Musk and focuses on cars it may become a reputable company and then Musk will need to find another way to go broke. Not that that should present a problem, his greatest skill is losing money, just, usually, other peoples money.
In the words of Musk....I think it will happen next year.
When I was an Electrical Engineer student I followed your videos on Elon (years and years ago) and damn it feels good to finally see everything crashing down for him. Whoever has a proper school education can tell he was full of BS from the start.
I'll admit I admired him at first, but then I started watching thunderf00t and woke up
@@Freerider93 I believed the FSD lies at first too because my thinking was "if he doesn't have a working product that meets or exceeds expectations, he won't make money, that's how capitalism works".
I was naive enough to not see that the stock was the product he was selling, not the car or the FSD.
@@cedric7751 Indeed, he sells vaporware which increases the tesla stock's price, which in turn makes him richer :v

The 'engineer' who claimed a (glass) window could withstand a "thermonuclear explosion"...
@@paulhaynes8045 That's actually a sorta kinda true fact that got misunderstood and garbled. Feynman was at Los Alamos for the Trinity Test and was sitting in a car to watch the blast. When asked about why he felt safe there he said that given the distance the type of radiation left off by the bomb which would reach him would be stopped by the pane of glass. Which is true. People have mistold that story for decades now. Which has in turn made people think silly stuff. Which marketing people then used. And here we are.

Sounds like the PS3 incident from last year, two years ago? Since they were shutting down the servers the consoles couldn't validate the date/time and as a result wouldn't be able to play any games at all. Even the games bought on disk..

If Tesla fails their entire charging network stops working too.

those people cheering for their space X rocket burning up before it reaches orbit is like cheering for Apollo 1. Space X might just go up in flames like Apollo 1.
Btw, how is Boeing doing with Starliner?
SpaceX has the most advanced rockets on the planet. Many of the tests performed are expected to fail because the intention is to stress systems to failure so that they know the limits of their product. There is a reason NASA contracts with them.
What aggravates me is that the people getting conned don't get mad at the conman, but they instead get mad at the people who are trying to save them from being conned - because they've developed a parasocial relationship of sorts, so it's sort of like Stockholm syndrome. You can clearly prove how they've been duped, year after year after year, yet they keep defending him. Maybe it also has something to do with sunk cost. Who knows? It's frustrating though.
Well said. I think that summarizes a lot of what is going on in people's heads.
Love your videos, sir.
Choice-supporting bias is, in some individuals, one of the strongest biases.
This is what is called brand loyalty. It describes a customer's persistent positive feelings towards a familiar brand and their dedication to purchasing the brand's products and/or services repeatedly regardless of deficiencies, a competitor's actions, or changes in the market environment, according to Wikipedia. The reason they defend Elon Musk is mainly derived by having a lot of loyalty with the brand they buying, Elon Musk is a brand and he gained lots of trust from a certain number of people over the years with his lies, it is no surprise that they will be loyal to Elon Musk even when he consistently fails time and time again.

I dumped all my Tesla at $775 a share. I purchased a brand new car with my earnings, and it was not a Tesla. Thanks Elon fan boys for buying me a new car by pumping up the stock value until it was ludicrously overvalued.

The only thing I disagree about is the undermining of the work at SpaceX. The scientists and engineers, not Elon, have really made some notable advances in the field. Them being excited about a failed launch isn't so much about the outcome but having succeeded at one further step to getting there.

The fact the government hasn't come after this guy yet is mindblowing. He's the most well documented liar of his companies products on Earth.....
And he's even fleeced the government's money, twice. Which is actually the public's money. So that means the public should be after the heads of those that gave him the chance to rob the taxpayer.

Because it's impossible to convict a cult leader of that magnitude. You cannot find a jury of 12 that will convict, because there's always a cultist in the group.
It is pretty strange. The SEC went after the head of Nikola because he kept lying to investors. Musk does the exact same thing but so far nothing. I think so many institutions have money in Tesla so they're just going along with the charade until everything implodes.
You think the government is honest? He does the work of the elites.
