What an amazing tool. As you demonstrated it, I could see the perfect logic of it, but I would never have thought about purchasing it without that demonstration.
The smaller the pearls, the more knots for any given necklace length. Larger pearls won't have as many knots. A great rule of thumb is to start with 5x the finished length.
I know the camera person was trying to make sure we had a good view but constantly cutting to a different angle made it difficult to follow what was happening. Looks like an excellent gadget though. :-)

Thank you for your gentle demonstration. Knotting pearls on a strand always intrigued me. The secret is out!

Does this device have suction cups on the bottom? Thanks
It does not have suction cups on the bottom.
Also, I agree with previous comment, changing camera angles is bad and it would have been nice to see multiple knots side by side.
How much thread should you use? Example - you want the completed necklace to be 20 inches.

It would have been nice to see it from an angle that showed what you were doing from beginning to end.
Does this work with surgeon's knots as well?
Sure, just make sure the thread is taut!

Where did you get the drawer cabinets behind you. There are two sitting side by side.
Hi Billie. Those were purchased many years ago from IKEA.
@@FireMountainGems I can see 14 drawers. Would you share how many drawers and maybe a picture?
