    Another well done tutorial in your usual and thorough style.
    One piece of advice I offer is when replacing with glass bulbs ( aka, incandescent ) is to either NOT touch the glass envelope or wipe it down after connected and before insertion with alcohol or some other solvent. The reason is that oils and grease ( even from your skin ) can decrease the life of the bulb. It concentrates heat in those areas. This comes from the Audio / Visual world where this is a real world problem. I've always practiced this all my automotive career and it works well.

    How would I remove the entire fog light? Not just bulb but the whole fog light piece. I'm installing an angel eye while piece.

    • @NexusAuto
      @NexusAuto  4 года назад

      I am not 100% sure if it is the same on the EX(and I think it most likely will be though), but there is 2 bolts that hold the fog lamps in place. You have to access it from the back, just like you do with the bulb. I would be easier to remove the entire lower cover to get to it.

    My 2015 qx60 is making grinding noise when making sharp turns that comes and goes specially from idle. Diagnosed as diferencial problem but dealership won't fix it they concluded its front brake rotors problem. Have you encounter this trouble? Grinding sounds like coming from rear end.

    • @NexusAuto
      @NexusAuto  2 года назад

      Hmmm. I haven't encountered that personally. I have a few questions.
      So, at idle, it's when you turn the wheel, you hear this grinding noise?
      Also, at faster speeds, the noise beces quieter when turning the wheel?
      All the noise comes from the rear of the car?
      I get the dealership said it's the front brakes, but who diagnosed it as a differential issue? Did the dealer do that too?

      It's not quite like this Infiniti Q50, from what I see. It is a bit closer to this vehicle
      ruclips.net/video/mCqud_GFU8c/видео.html
      This is a video from a Chevy Equinox. Although very different vehicles, you have to go in from the same spot, the inner fender liner. The bolts and clips will be different, but the idea is the same. Hopefully it helps give some direction. I have not work on the 17 Q50 at this time, so I can't compare. But this is based on the info I pulled. Hope that helps.

      Unfortunately, the q50 has LED headlights, so they are not replaceable by people like us! It sucks, I know. Either you have to bring it to an LED specialist who can open the headlight and replace the LEDs, or sorry to say, you have to get a whole new headlight. Which is very very costly!
