    Yo that tip about keeping your weight on your heel side unlocked these for me. I always leaned toeside, and they felt so dangerous. I'd get all tangled up, and my board would land in a different zip code. I'm still pivoting quite a bit, but they feel so much safer now.

    I've got a disability (born with no hands and feet) and have been skating for nearly 15 years, I'm missing the front part of my foot so a lot of my balance is basically all on my heels so my foot positions are a little different to most regular skaters. I've always struggled with back 360's mostly because of not being able to find the right weight balance for doing them but this has helped me so much and I can basically do them now! not super high popped but I can spin them around much easier!

    this is an old clip of mine from like 5 years ago cause I stopped skating for a while and I've only just gotten back into it after like 5 years and a lot of your videos have been helping me relearn all my basics again! Really enjoy your content Mitchie keep it up!

    i wonder if you try to go extreme will it work lets say you like instead of trying to 360 you go for the 540 backside where you overcommit and then when you try the intended 360 bs trick it will be easier. like ollieing 4 boards at first failing those and when you do 3 boards no problem. but your method of non action wuwei is sound

    • @SKATEiQ
      @SKATEiQ  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yes it does work like that. If it's not working, it's good to play little tricks on yourself to force a change naturally.

      As someone who studied biomechanics, I can really appreciate it and it's exciting to be able to apply it to skateboarding in a fun way. It's crazy how many people overlook the importance of understanding how their bodies can move functionally better, be used more powerfully and efficiently with the use of simple physics principles 😎👌🏽
