    Good video! You did a great job getting all the good angles for someone doing it solo. Big respect for mostly hand tool usage.

    I want to thank you and other creators for having these EXTREMELY helpful videos, because of your and other videos I was able to successfully change the suspension on my sisters charger. Thanks for giving me the confidence with your helpful videos to help out my family and get comfortable working on cars.

    Awesome video! Thank you, quick question when re-raising the car to load the suspension to factory ride height or whatever where did you jack it up from to actually load the lower control arm?

    • @hyr0llr
      @hyr0llr  9 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you, as far as where to jack from, @ 5:00 you can use the ball joint stud to jack since its only for a minute or so.

    Are you able to lower the car back to the jack stands once you have torqued up the lower control arm/tension strut/upper control arm? Or do I need to keep it up there for the sway bar links? I’ve seen lots of video skipping the “ride height torquing” of these components.

      Yes. More than likely thr bushing are shot, so its just bouncing around when yu hit bumps.

    • @hyr0llr
      @hyr0llr  4 месяца назад

      My jack is pushing up on the suspension via the rotor or knuckle. I forgot ehich one

    • @hyr0llr
      @hyr0llr  9 месяцев назад

      @@Piratagorranegrai cant tell from the video but it looks like there is an allen key hole on the ball joint. If that is a allen key slot. You hold it like that and wrench the nut off. If it is not a allen key slot, grab a ball fork to put tension on the ball joint to unspin the nut.

      @@Piratagorranegraand if that doesnt work, if you removed enough threads to get some needle nose pliers under the nut to hold the ball joint.

    Would the play in the front lower control arms cause the caster to be off? I replaced the uppers and tie rods already and the shop said the caster was still off after alignment.

    • @hyr0llr
      @hyr0llr  6 месяцев назад

      Hard to say. Was a curb ever hit previously by chance? Looking around some forums i read this on the second comment.
      www.chargerforums.com/threads/caster-alignment.397675/
      2nd comment says there is no adjustment for Caster, and the original Post and comment is saying his Caster is out of alignment also.
