You saved my rear! 😂 I have a 1940s themed Christmas party tonight and I needed a tutorial from someone who had the same length of hair as I do! Thank you!
Idk if this would help, but maybe if u get a blow dryer and but on high heat and blow on ur hair, it might work as a type of “curler or straightener” cause if you use heat it helps them stay better
do you dampen your hair before you pin it down? you don't want your hair to be wet, just barely like misted with water. Adding that step took my curls from lasting a couple hours to a couple days 👍
you may want to use a curl control gel or hair spray or something. I get the same problem but I use garnier fructis curl gel and it helps the curls stay in place for hours. just don't use too much at a time or hair will get icky.
1D forever legendary same, actually same. My hair touches my butt but I LOVE this style of hair but now I have just accepted the fact that my hair will have to be like way shorter for it to look good
My hairdresser (moved) did a version of this, and I couldn’t quite figure out how her pinned curls were so full, and mine were squashed. I had been doing the pin curls all over, and she did the curls that looked like they were in a curler. I just tried before I found your video. I’m glad you showed “how to” on this tutorial. I’ll give it ago again next time. Thanks for posting!🌹
A lot of times I'll do my pain curls that way and then other times I'll just roll my hair around my fingers and use bobby pins that way they're really tight and they say the curl stays in my head for about 3 days because I have fine hair and I like it and because I like for my hair before and messy.
I did this and the results were really ring type of hair I have hair like it's which is short and have bangs(not literally cause I cut my hair myself)and I also used Bobby pins
She starts with dry hair cus the hair isn’t supposed to be super wet. It’s supposed to be damp. So if you recently showered and 30 mins have passed where your hair is midway dry but still damp, then that would be the appropriate amount of dampness. 😅 if you tried pinning your hair while fully wet the look would not work!
I dont know if you're still looking but I found some similar ones at walmart, Walgreens/CVS (not sure if they have them nationwide or outside of the US but at a generic drugstore)
Beautiful that's exactly how to do my hair and my hair is not quite that long my hair is right at the little below my shoulder bone I guess where my collarbone connection to my forearm yeah it's it's long but it's not long long it's not sure it's not being but it is long but not as long as.

How did it go?
It’s so much easier to wrap from root to tip, if you haven’t tried. As long as you keep your angle, it works the same.
Wish ny curls stayed like that. Mine just fall flat as soon as i start brushing. You look amazing
if you use setting lotion it'll help out

My mom use to wrap the hair around her pointer finger then push it down and use bobby pins.
Your mom did it right. All these tutorials are doing it wrong. They pretend there is a roller there and then fasten it.
Agree !!
Now this cute!
Simply lovely!!!
SUPER CUTE! 👍💖
I tried this but my hair is down to my waist and it was a disaster lol. But u look great

Both of you can have this hair styles you just need layers in your hair
@@theoracle4424 I guess. But I personally don't like layers lol. I have found other ways to curl my hair though :) so it's all good
my hair is not only down to my waist but also thick as a wolf..... T.T
@@RoseQueen215 nice

How long does it take to fully pin your hair?
Would this work for shoulder-length hair with bangs?

Why Start with dry hair if you're going to spray each strand??
Very nice 👌
What do you spray with just normal hair spray?
water
where do you buy those clips, they dont sell them in Kmart, Big W or $2 shop.. guessing I'd have to get them offline.
Natalya Roberts I got mine from Walmart 💓
Sally Beauty or most beauty supply stores. This is my source for US made bobby pins, much better than the Goody ones from Walmart.
Are you in Australia? They sell them at hair house warehouse but you can also use bobby pins for the same effect :)

Why not just start with wet hair?
To be honest You look like Marilyn Monroe 🖤
The clips should go through the curls

That's not how we made pincurls
These are not pin curls all you girls are doing. This is rolling it over an invisible roller.
That’s not the way I do pin curls. No no!! Not at all
