Great job Adam. Um I was wondering why the jobs are mostly to nearly always black base and sliver flake? I’d love to see maybe a blue base with a bright blue fake or something to change black and silver or do have to do it that way? Great video again thanks.

I think silver is a good bright neutral base for the flake. You can paint candy over the top to change the color and the flake will follow the candy.

Can you use the flake in a innercoat clear first then use regular clear or is it better to mix clear then more clear

Yes, you can put the flake and intercoat clear. However, when it sprays out, it creates more texture, causing you to have to apply more clearcoat to bury that texture. Also, in my opinion, I feel like it’s better to have the metal flakes suspended into 2K clearcoat rather than uncatalyzed basecoat.

Great work!!!! Why don't you use a galaxy silver or any silver metallic base instead of the flake in clear instead of painting black basecoat then adding the flake? Does it give it more depth? Just curious of the extra step, looking forward to trying your artwork out!!! Super excited
