- These are the first attempts at a line of production knives as move towards getting a website set up and starting to produce and sell knives. I've got three more of the same kind on the way so I'll have a total of five to put up once the website is up. I'll be doing other types of knives as well.

I have been watching your videos since 2015 and its cool to see you improve your blacksmithing skills! I'm looking forward to hearing more about your website too.
I think you mean 2016 as I didn't start before that. Hopefully up and running either this week or next. Thank you :)

Good to have you back mate, Thank you!
Nice work
The Wrought Iron is so pretty beautifull!
Nice job man.
Great video as always, I think you are definitely getting better every time. Those are fantastic blades.
Indeed. Taking more time to just focus on my work rather than video as I shift into production. Thank you very much!
I need to make my wife a new kitchen knife.
What will she cut with it?
Im going to make her a chef knife.
Those were particularly beautiful to my eye.
I'm glad to hear so, Thank you!
Beautiful blades.. great job!
Thank you very much!
Buetifull craftmanship 😃
Thank you!
Dang! Those look great.
Thank you!
nice, man. really nice knives. thanks
Thank you!
I miss the sound of birds and nature in your videos hahahahaha
Hehe me too. Not much is singing here in the Canadian winter.
@@MakeNCreate but great video! I’m learning a lot with you channel! Tks!!
They both look great and might try to buy one if I make it in time lol
Enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
Awesome. And kind of unique use of wrought iron as far as I know. At least in the last two centuries! You’ll have to update us if you ever figure out why the heels had those dark spots. Makes zero difference in the beauty of the blade, but it’s got me curious.
So amazing knife
Thank you!
👍👍 Excellent 😉
Really awsome job, the only thing i would differently is to put more epoxy in handles when putting thang
so nice..
Thanks!
God damn i love wrought iron
Great job mate 👍
Me too! it's wonderfully unique in each knife. Thank you!
@@MakeNCreate just need to practice my forge welding and get some wrought so i can make some san mai like this
@@S8tan7 This construction makes it quite easy as the carbon steel is well insulated from any direct heat from below. Wrought iron forge welds very easy since it already contains a bunch of impurities which kinda acts as it's own flux. Give it a go mate. Make sure you soak the piece nicely so it heats up nice and evenly. Cheers!
@@MakeNCreate thanks for the tips mate, need to find some wrought now somehow
@@S8tan7 send me a Dm on Instagram if you have it and I'll help you with it :).
Literally so freakin cool
Nah, just room temperature. around 16 degress celsius I think. ;)
These look amazing! Good luck scaling up your business :)
thank you man! in the midst of setting up my website :)
Beautiful! I thought the gaps would be gross but they only enhanced the look!
Thank you!
beautiful, uses the cubitron strips 3M grain 36,60 and 80 in red color, they are expensive but extremely efficient, good luck
What's the difference between s steel and wrought iron? Which is better?
Great job! The assembled handle on the knives looks great. Only these are no longer Japanese knives, but Scandinavian ones, since they have a Scandinavian rune on them. 👍😉
Thank you! Just my touchmark ;)
Awesome! I never get tired of that etched wrought iron, plus the handles are simple but beautiful! Btw, did you use stainless in the handle?
Haha me neither, so much character in the individual pieces. I think I did but I'm actually not quite sure. Either way it won't as the grease from your hands will keep nice and protected and you should always wipe off water after using a carbon steel knife.
nice
Thank you!
What is the white powder that the master filled in the iron block at 2:30?
If traditional japanese sword making requires the high carbon steel to jacket the lower carbon content then why do you reverse the process when making knives. what's the main difference?
how long did your acid etch it for
What core steel are you using?
👍👍👍
Nice New video! Great job as usual. Let me ask you. Did you use Ash as flux at 2:33?
Just borax. Thank you!
Mr Make and Create can you make a Japanese kitchen knives like Nakiri Deba Honsuki Kiritsuke and Gyuto knives too pls
Love the knives.. Have you ever done a Nakiri knife?? I did not see one on your site...
I did my first one not long ago for a customer. Thank you :)
what charcoal do you use, looks different but functional
I think you mean coal as charcoal refers to a specific kind of coal made from wood. It's bituminous coal, It's what's usually used for blacksmithing.
oooo now I understand in Spanish it is called the same as charcoal and that mineral coal Thank you
what is the core steel?
W1!
Beautiful blades! If you make more can we buy?
Yes! I just finished 3 more today. My website with a store will be up in a couple of days.
Can. U make a pipe tomahawk btw realy like your channel real craftmanship👏👍🔥
It's on my todo list yes.
@@MakeNCreate great thank you
Can you pls do a new workshop tour
Nice! Very nice! 1095 and Springsteel?
No. Wrought iron and w1. Thank you :)
@@MakeNCreate Thank you!
Du hast zwei wunderschöne Messer gemacht. Ich gebe dir nur einen kleinen Tipp für deinen Griffe. Schau dir mal das Video von Michael tessin an Über die WA Griff Konstruktion 😊
I have a question, are you from Denmark? Always thought I saw stuff in your earlier videos that made me believe that? Now in canada?? Would be nice to connect to another danish knife maker! Thanks
Jep! Er I Canada nu.
@@MakeNCreate hold nu kæft. Ikke sig Montreal. Så kommer jeg forbi, her bor jeg. Jeg er på team canada som kunstskøjteløber og laver bare lidt knive i fritiden!
@@Niksow fedt nok. Er I sherbrooke så ikke langt fra.
The dark spot at the heel might be a spot where you burnt the steel a little bit and decarbonized it just a little bit
I dont know how you can share your workshop with someone else... I wouldn't even be able to share it with my best friend...
Not sharing, renting me a spot. Big difference between those two.
@@MakeNCreate Ah, thats a big difference! But still, having someone walking behind your back while working is pretty unpleasant, at least would be for me. Good video btw ;)
@@jutub3662 thank you!

Haha Québec is luckily pretty bilingual as far as online businesses go.
@@MakeNCreate true! Lol
How much for the larger one?
Both sold. More will be available later this week.

@@MakeNCreate But I rewatch all of your videos every night.
@@jhgaming6830 hehe I appreciate it mate ;)
that's a dangerous way to put the high carbon bit.... please don't do such exhibitions...
Just a bit hot is all.
Nice work
Thank you Chris!
