Stuart. Only been following your videos for a week and the breadth of the information you pass on is brilliant. I’m guilty of trying the elbow tuck in garbage with frustrating results and every other online suggestion. My big problem was with the longer clubs and also not really understanding what the golf swing is. Last 2 days I’ve reformed my grip, used the broom drill and the driver swing finally makes sense. Thanks for erasing the many golfing myths
Stuart, really appreciate you sharing your experiences which made me smile, a lot. Thank you thank you thank you! Happy golfing my friend. Best wishes Stu 😊
Hands down the best explanation of path I've ever seen...good coaching Spent many pounds on lessons to fix my negative numbers....never worked Keep up the very informative work Many thanks
Much appreciated Mark - I sadly hear that all too often, yet people still advise path change as a remedy for path change. Simply won’t work, but you know this 😊 - onwards and upwards, let me know how the practice goes, and good luck! 🙌🙌
Great video as always Stuart, thanks very much for putting these ideas and demos out to make us think and understand more about what influences what in the golf swing. Love the idea of focusing on ground pressures to control shot shape, definitely something I will be trying to incorporate in next practice session.
Thanks so much Nick - appreciate the kind words. Will be doing another video on foot pressure soon that will work nicely alongside path change and foot pressure. Happy practicing 😊
Stripping it back even further though, can you talk about aiming ? On a range it’s pretty easy to ensure but on the course the eye can deceive and There’s so many distractions. Maybe this is a bit fundamental for what you are trying to explore here but it’s something that requires some level of accuracy in order to ensure other influences on result are being interpreted correctly…… whatever, loving these vids Stuart
Hi Andy - I’m all about fundamentals, but appreciating what influences aim and path is what I cover in this video. What’re your aim “bias” will always override your eyes and third party influences, so, I believe if you apply the above knowledge it will help. HTH
Stuart , Tested out your style of swing. I see why you have a bad back. I see why those that play this way are injured back , wrists , etc. Bad for golf . :) You need to visit Mike Austin and get to free wheeling and save what is left . Marcus Bell is close to you , a trip to see him will give you a couple more years. Cheers
Just to confirm, target/aim is irrelevant for FaceToPath understood but from what i see here aim is fundamental to Path, correct or should I get my coat 😂
😂😂All questions are hugely important, guarantee someone else will be thinking the same… My intent is to make you aware path is reactive ingredient which will come from Face to Path, you must aim relative to F2P rather than changing sim to change your path. Some consider this as the same thing, but accommodating aim to F2P rather than changing aim to change your path, mentally, is a better application in my opinion. HTH ? 😬🫣
@@GoodGolfCoaching I can and will accept your wisdom and experience with regards to focus points ie. FtP but from a purely physical understanding is Path the direction of the club at impact then? I know what we’ll be talking about next lesson!

Very educational Stuart, much appreciated 👍. After you finish your Trackman series could you do a video on early extension? Thanks.
Hi Ajit, I’ve already done a video called “Early Extension Fixer” please go and check it out. 😄
Ah yes, forgot about that one, thanks!

Why would you not show FACE ANGLE on screen too? Surely no point in demonstrating bend if youre only showing PATH?
Because it’s a video on Club Path?

Absolutely Gav - club path is the direction of travel of the club path in isolation relative to target target, and not relative to your body.
always interesting, but lose the word "orientated" and use oriented!
OK, thanks Mike. Much appreciated. Best wishes Stu
