Yeah the bar on the back of the trailer and the little gas struts are to lift the back door up so sheep can use it as a ramp to get to the top deck, you then twist the bar to drop it back down, works really well👍
In im late but the bar going acroos the back door isnt for a sheep deck even tho u can put up a sheep deck in it but thats just for handling the door and the spring is for raising the ramp for th top deck
I love your channel! I'm in the US in Wisconsin, known as the dairy state. We have lots of cows here that produce lots of great cheese. Wishing all the best to you and yours! 🙂
Great vid Tom its a bugger we can't get on with land work we have got muck coming out of our ears just can't get on but the weather will come yet. Look forward to seeing the next video keep up the good work.
Ifor Williams trailers are first rate but towing behind the tractor will put a lot of strain on it due to the very tight turning circle so try and keep them to a minimum. Make sure it is running level and have the ball at the optimal height.
We are down south, Sussex and its sodden still. Had a few dry days and got the roller on today and twenty minutes later it was sleet and more rain so that's put paid to that for a few more days. Farm next door has some stock out but we are hill farms and drainage isn't horrendous tbh. Trailer looks good, bit disappointed you weren't playing love songs for the bull before he met the heffers...Thought you'd learnt that lesson Tom!!! Keep up the good work!
Another great video tom always learn something which is what I’m mad for learning as much as I can about farming for my future career fingers crossed 🤞
Trick for washing lots of much out if you don't know, is to let the sheep ramp in the back door up and it will sqeagy out under the ramp and it's easier to wash ramp when it's steap?
Great video Tom. Love seeing cow video from you. It seams like every time you say that should be an easy job it never turns out to be all that easy. Lol. But I do understand that you are working with cows and they always have an idea of what they want to do and it’s not always the same as what you want to do. Keep up the great work and God bless.
Love your pride, professionalism and enjoyment of farming if every one had your additude British at would be in a much better place. Also I would love some tp merch whith trust me I am a farmer on it
We had a bull escape from our cattle trailer when the latch broke while going down the road one time. He was a little roughed up but he was fine. We were almost to the slaughter house when he escaped. We had no idea until we went to unload him and he was gone. A lady saw it happen and got him into the field with her cattle 🐮.
Good video Tom. Too wet to put cattle out here, and even if it was dry enough I would probably keep them in until the grass catches up. Plenty of bales left in the barn yet.
Ok Tom u said that the heifers would hopefully calf out in October 2020. Why do allow Fall and Winter calves? Why not keep the bull separated until Fall and then have all spring calves?
Love the trailer although you could call it a portable toilet...was hoping I'd see you spray it out and get it nice and clean again but either you didn't or I missed it...lol
As a nonfarmer I love watching your videos. my father grew up on a farm, but had to join the Navy during World War II. All of his siblings were very healthy, and I attribute it to the farm life and all that organic food he ate growing up.
Hey Tom. In a recent video, you were talking to that documentary guy from Northern Ireland. I couldn't make out a single word he said. Not a word. Took me 20 minutes for my ears to adjust. Then, in another video, he got to talking with other Irishmen -- and forget it. OMG. They might as well be reading from the telephone book. Too much work for this guy. I started watching your videos two years ago. The period of adjustment was a cakewalk in comparison.
Hey tom, I am looking for an address for my foreign internship coming summer. I wondered if I can do this at your farm. It is only for two weeks. I work on a farm in the netherlands every saturday so I have a bit of experience. I followed a bilingual study. Jelle lijftogt
Tom you need a battery pack a got one just for me phone like go pro maybe different lol am surely you could get one life savers like lol keep up the good work my friend peace
Mind when you handle heifers when they are jumping and kicking. I got a kick from heifers while milking. She broke a bone in arm and I was in hospital for 3 days last june
Tom your in farmers weekly on internet for one of the best farming RUclips channels to watch well done mate
You should do an EDC video showing what gear you carry on you during the working day and what’s in your backpack I think it would be great.
Yeah the bar on the back of the trailer and the little gas struts are to lift the back door up so sheep can use it as a ramp to get to the top deck, you then twist the bar to drop it back down, works really well👍
It's gonna be a loss when Heidi leaves the farm 😣. Kinda getting used to seeing her around...proper grafter!👍
She hasn't left
Richard Dalton Whats her insta
;)
In im late but the bar going acroos the back door isnt for a sheep deck even tho u can put up a sheep deck in it but thats just for handling the door and the spring is for raising the ramp for th top deck
We are having storms. Wind lots of sideways rain. Mucky, wet, grey skys...
☕🌧🌬☔Jeanne on the Oregon Coast 🌎
Awesome new trailer👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
The gas struts are to lift the inner bit of tailgate to load top sheep deck. Keep the videos up
Always great videos Tom. From what I see of you and Heidi you never stop working. She'll turn out well, she has a great "Supervisor" lol 🌹💟🌹
Trust me I’m a farmer. When those shirts are made I’ll definitely buy.
I love your channel! I'm in the US in Wisconsin, known as the dairy state. We have lots of cows here that produce lots of great cheese. Wishing all the best to you and yours! 🙂
Bar and rams are part of the lift for the floor of the ramp to get access to top deck tom lad! Good to see things going well!!!
Great vid Tom its a bugger we can't get on with land work we have got muck coming out of our ears just can't get on but the weather will come yet. Look forward to seeing the next video keep up the good work.
Take it all in stride. I loved the way you cleaned your trailer. Fantastic!!! Just like all your videos. Peace and love from SW Florida 😇!!!
Ron Hooks 😀
See from your drone there is a golf course nearby?? Awesome!! Farming and a bit of golf, Best life:)
Only been watching a few so far, very intresting looking foward to watching more .
well the weather is no better in Danmark...Rain Rain and more Rain...
You are a GUIDE not a Boss. I Love Hiedi..
The round bar and the 2 little rams is to raise the ramp for the top deck of the sheep decks
Glad to see Heidi getting some credit for her work.
Ifor Williams trailers are first rate but towing behind the tractor will put a lot of strain on it due to the very tight turning circle so try and keep them to a minimum. Make sure it is running level and have the ball at the optimal height.
280th! GOOD AFTERNOON TOM, LUKE, AND THE GINGER GUY! Roger in Pierre South Dakota USA 😊
The round bar on the back of the trailer is for letting the ramp up to the decks back down you turn it round then stand on the ramp
Such a crisp picture Tom. A very good camera it’s fair to say.
I see that the heifer tried to shake hands with Heidi as she went through the gate. All the best from down under.
VERY CUTE COWS AND A BULL TOM

Tom you were actually counting in Spanish 😀
Lol
Was thinking thats not french lol
I love the music choice on the vids
Ello from Yorkshire, Loving the videos inspire me every day so much, Keep up the good work lad
The thing on the trailer is to pop up the ramp on the door of the double decker for ewes (or at least that's what I use them for)
Great Vid. Those Rams on the trailers back door are for the Easy-Load ramp for the sheep decks.
Great video Tom. Love seeing cow video from you. It seams like every time you say that should be an easy job it never turns out to be all that easy. Lol. I liked the vid just because of the snappy clean trailer ending!
Love the drone shots and the music! Cows a bit of a handful today
Another great video 🚜🇮🇪
What would be great for the holidays would be metal milk crates and glass milk bottles w/ your logo on them.
The bar at the back of the trailer, is so the ramp lifts and goes higher for sheep to get in the top deck 👍
Nice clean trailer great work
I wish I could click my fingers and get that to work like that, it would make it so much quicker washing out at the market
Love your vids keep up the good work!
Enjoyed the vlog Tom new trailer moon in handy come on guys let’s get Tom to 10:000 likes this channel is awesome:)
Good video Tom.
Too wet to put cattle out here, and even if it was dry enough I would probably keep them in until the grass catches up. Plenty of bales left in the barn yet.

As a nonfarmer I love watching your videos. my father grew up on a farm, but had to join the Navy during World War II. All of his siblings were very healthy, and I attribute it to the farm life and all that organic food he ate growing up.
I starting to understand the geography section f your farm but don’t no why I see a large John Deere and abbey tanker at the other farm. Great vid
"There's a bottom here".... Another idea for a hoodie. :)
hey well done
Great video Tom!
Some nice footage and editing 👍🏻
Same trailer we use at work....fits 8 fat sows in easy:)
Different tanker on the tractor when he was taking it off to put on the trailer
Do you have a seperate group for the dry cows and heivers? And if you do why do you do that?
The trailer has an option for sheep decks and the rams are to get to the top deck also I bought one
What is the black spring looking thing near the coupler of the trailer?
“Oh there’s a bottom here” 😂😂 classic
it is EasyLoad ramp used in conjunction with the folding sheep deck system
great video, do you get snow there or are you in a temperate climate
Have you got a new tanker because the one you took of the herlyman was green not your blue one

Thanks for the awesome video's!
Awe looks like a swamp with all those puddles, love seeing those sweet little sleeping calves.......

Anyone know the song behind his awesome drone shots ??
I wanted him to “Heidi hi” but he’s probably too young.lol
Ho di ho 😂😂 Hes to young
His Dad will have to enlighten him.
That new trailer has saved you money already, good investment look after it will last you years.
Mind when you handle heifers when they are jumping and kicking. I got a kick from heifers while milking. She broke a bone in arm and I was in hospital for 3 days last june
