In this video I'll show you a fun material to print with. Mica powders are sold under various trade names, mine are called Pearlex powders.
Making the Christmas balls is easy and a fun thing to do! I used mine to go into my Christmas mobile but they are gorgeous to go into your tree or as decorations all around the house, made even better by the paper you can gelli print yourself!
This is absolutely beautiful and what a wonderful way to use mica powder, a very old favourite of mine, and give it new uses.

Beautiful. I love mica. I have use foiling to add some sheen but it's so messy. Since then I use mica and metallic paints. Thank you for sharing.

The effect is beautiful and so very fitting for the season. I wish I would have discovered this video a month ago when I felt like decorating my apartment but didn't have any ideas on what I could make. Oh well, maybe they'd work for spring in the right colors

Great idea, Maggie! I gave away my mica powders earlier this year in my studio clean-out. Guess I’ll have to get some more! These are fun, and your Christmas mobile is gorgeous!!
