I’m about 20 hours in and I’m someone who LOVES collecting for the museum in games. It was my favorite objective in Animal Crossing too. In the time that I’ve gotten to know Scott, he doesn’t really act like a city boy and he hasn’t been full of himself at all. He’s been really complementary, dorky, and lively. He clearly has some hang ups on dating though. I’d say his biggest flaw shown so far in my playthrough has been that he has a bad habit of being late and he can be forgetful. But other than that he’s been a total sweetheart.

I only started playing the game when 1.0 dropped, but for most of my passive viewing I thought I would really like Scott I was really put off by Scott in that one cut sceen where Pablo invites Rafael and the Player to the tavern and he was so dang rude to Rafael (as someone who struggles with real life interactions, situations like that- being pointedly left out, being spoken over and ignored, etc- really upset me) Scott went from near the top of my list to the absolute bottom. The only time I maybe talk to him is during festivals when I speak to everyone.

I saw no one answered you yet. As of now coral island only allows you to hit 5 ❤️/10 ❤️. As you gain heart levels though new cutscenes/events unlock with the person. You learn more about them, can date, marry and have children.
I think I'd go with Kenny because even though he isn't spicy, he loves animals as much as I do, unless they let me date Zarah. She's not dateable in my game for some reason, but my #1!! Millie would be my bestie. Scott and Leah are horrible! Waaku complained about grocery shopping and doesn't cook, he comes off immature. Red flag!
Early Access will carry over to the full release. You just have the added benefit of helping to develop the game, and you get it for cheaper (because it will most likely go up in price at full release)!

I was really put off by Scott in that one cut sceen where Pablo invites Rafael and the Player to the tavern and he was so dang rude to Rafael (as someone who struggles with real life interactions, situations like that- being pointedly left out, being spoken over and ignored, etc- really upset me) Scott went from near the top of my list to the absolute bottom. The only time I maybe talk to him is during festivals when I speak to everyone.

I'm basically of the same mind except I would switch Luke and Kenny (sorry Kenny!). I love the idea of Kenny, but then he opens his mouth and...a little too daydreamy for me. I feel like Luke could be pretentious unintentionally, but sweet overall. I'm fighting between Mark, Luke, and Rafael atm! Do I really need to play this 25 times??? 😆 Good placements though!

I saw no one answered you yet. As of now coral island only allows you to hit 5 ❤️/10 ❤️. As you gain heart levels though new cutscenes/events unlock with the person. You learn more about them, can date, marry and have children.
I think I'd go with Kenny because even though he isn't spicy, he loves animals as much as I do, unless they let me date Zarah. She's not dateable in my game for some reason, but my #1!!
