These have been available in the UK for years now. It used to be very cheap but the price has sky rocketed into the premium price range of late. What I will say is it mixes very quickly and very clean. It also has a the batch parameters on a piece of paper and a cool measuring cup. I've tried all salts and found this to mix very well. I used to use the pro biotic salt.
Instant Ocean (Purple bucket) or the Aquaforest Sea Salt are both good options! You may find you end up with less brown crusty buildup in your mixing bucket/bin with the Aquaforest salt.

can i use the probiotic reef salt to start a tank ?
Whoa! I did not realize these were available. I do a small water change per week for my SPS tank, maybe I should swap to that Probiotic salt mix.
Thomas always gets a 👍
very nice is this a better option then say Instant ocean salt and the tropic marine pro salt? im running a peaceful Fish only system
Since it’s a fish only system, you don’t really have to worry about trace elements so instant ocean should be fine for you
