- I played through all Wolfenstein games again to show you over 100 weapons in comparison. The first Wolfenstein from 1992 was my first FPS ever. I remember feeling pretty tense while playing it when I was a child, now it is rather funny :)
Since I have invested a lot of time in creating this video, I would be happy about a Like or a Subscription. Because Wolfenstein 3d takes place in 1940's, Doom takes place beyond 2010's.
Wolf09 isn't half bad in this video. Hell, it was a great game, not the best one, but really great. Bethesda should bring it back to steam.

Well in a way the dark aether story in cod zombies can be considered somewhat of a spiritual successor to Wolfenstein 2009

I for one really missed the Bombenschluss in The New Colossus. I often found myself wishing TNC had included a dedicate marksman rifle, instead of having both a sub-machine gun and an assault rifle. Considering the Shockhammer excelled up close, the handgun was accurate and silenced, and the AR was deadly at any range with armor piercing rounds, the Sub-Machine gun just felt redundant.
I almost always used the silenced smg for stealth and the assault in sniper mode eighter double or together with shotgun
The assault riffle in sniper mode has way to high fire rate !

Call of Duty: WWII got a lot of backlash for that detail alone.
Laser Cutter from The New Order had a weapon mode. You can find an upgrade in prison mission. It makes it a minilaserkraftwerk. Shame that Blazkowitz abandons it with such a despise when he finds the big one.

laserkraftwerk in new order starts as neet gun especially when you want to save some ammo
but it ends as wunderwafe capable of deleting whole group of enemies in just one press of trigger
also Ubergewehr is just wolfenstein's BFG
There's something about that MP40 reload in RTCW that is just unbelievably satisfying
Pretty much any reload in RTCW was satisfying :) (at least SMGs there)
I find the firing sound even more satisfying.

That game's so underrated. Sure it has CoD tropes and all, but if you can look past those, it's a neat game. Awesome weapons, enemy designs, etc. Why it was taken down from Steam is beyond me - I know it was an Activision-published game, but so was RtCW, yet that game is still up.

The Venom Gun is legit the best fucking chaingun of any video game! The punch and as the description said on the RoTC Walthrough Guide for the PS2: "Turning anything into hamburgers!"

The new order is my favorite.
That particle cannon from 2009 is still one of my favourite weapons in any game. The wail sound it makes, the way it disintegrates enemies, the overall desgin of it. Perfect!

The Bombenschuss looks like a FG42 bolt action
It is basically its successor in the MachineGames universe. Same with the Assault Rifle/Sturmgewehr 1946, which succeeds the StG 44.

In the frist Mission of TNO its suposed to protect from the shots from the giant robot, not sure about the rest

funny thing is that Wolfenstein 2009 was developed by Raven Software (now splited into a small team that helps Activision to make the multiplayer modes of mostly COD games released until now) also Wolfenstein 2009 was considered the WORST of all because they put the health regen system on that game making more easy and less challenging than RTCW.

But in Wolfenstein 2009 you have to pay to the blackmarket for their gunsmiths to modify your Kar98K to accept stripper clips once you mount thr scope on, until you buy that upgrade you can only single load rounds when the scope's on.

@@MaxRideWizardLord I agree that 2009 was really good and its underrated but RTCW being easy? WTF dude? That game was hard as hell! Those elite paratroopers were a nightmare especially at later levels where there were almost no health pick ups. Enemy AI way better than 2009 and grenades were mostly useless.
In my opinion the new order is the best new colossus is ok and all but for me new order stands out the most

Just a video game fact:Particle weapons are still kinetic(it's just charged accelerated particles) unlike lasers

The strumgewehr scope ridicule looks bugged. The lines on the sides are jagged and look messed up. I'll never understand the dev who looked at that and said, "looks fine to me".
Criminal how the minigun types end up either getting acquired in the late game (RtCW), are replaced by similar weapnry that doesn't feel right in my eyes (Wolf 2009), or are replaced by lighter successors (The New Order onwards)
But for all intents and purposes, the Sten, FG42, and Venom are to die for.
Edit at 11:03: True that. Console exclusive extras suck, and would love to see those missions be ported on the PC and others.
