I feel like Wolfenstein’s goofy unrealistic approach is the best way to handle a Nazis winning the war alternate history story. They were always going to lose ww2, and their government was an unstable mess so even if they had won they would have collapsed due to infighting shortly after. Having giant robots and moon bases and ancient sci-fi tech is really the only way they could’ve stayed in power for that long.
Gotta love the whole "ancient magic technology that's light-years ahead of ours yet it's creators are entirely gone and forgotten" logic
They could/should of just said it was alien or doom deamon tech.
But the creators are neither gone nor forgotten, you meet one of their ranks that not only gives you directions for their vaults but also states that there are more of them (and I think in one comment he says that they tried to support the allies shortly before the war ended).

In real life, Hitler is looking for ancient artifacts that could potentially power his army but are most likely myths. But in Wolfenstein, the ancient artifacts Hitler finds are very effective.

I actually recently finished Wolfenstein the new order on the hardest mode Uber Difficulty which took 10 days and was bastard hard to beat I died a grand total of 166 times so the video speaks volumes on survivability against that army.

Those hovering robot things don't have "ramjet engines." Ramjets only work with supersonic airflow into the inlet. They work my extremely-fast moving air entering the engine nacelle, being compressed, mixing with fuel, and then the mixture expanding out the rear of the engine after being combusted. It is the shape of the engine core and speed of intake air that dictates the engine pressure ratios. Unless the air is moving fast enough, appropriate EPR cannot be achieved, combustion cannot be sustained, and the engine will not produce thrust. A small, hovering robot cannot utilize a ramjet. It could utilize a jet. Or a turbofan. Or turboshaft. Or turboprop. But not a ramjet.
Seeing as how the drone in the clip on screen when he was talking about ramjets, well, rammed the player, I don't think he meant a ramjet, but rather a ram-jet. A jet engine enabling ramming.
Besides, it's Wolfenstein. Modern rules don't exactly apply to pseudoscientific Jewish uber-tech vaults.

@@bigrich6075 Yes, it is. As a German i learned this during my first visit to a concentration camp with my school. It really opened my eyes to how incredibly inhumane the Nazis were. Of course I already knew that they were horrible, but in my mind it always made sense in their own fucked up way that they would kill people that they deemed as their "enemies". But that they would kill their own people who were no longer of use to them really showed me how bad things really were. I feel bad knowing some of my great grandparents fought and died for this regime

honestly, the nazis in wolfenstein are alot more dangerous than the demons in doom, in doom the demons are pretty much just animals but incredibly dangerous, as long as you hide and hope the doom slayer comes soon youre fine, but the nazis in wolfenstein? these are real monsters, made worse with powerful and unbelievable tech.

Right, devoid of logic and absent from reality but a funny way to kick the Nazis in the teeth. Of course none of those Nazis exist anymore to get pissed by a game mocking them but I guess it is for the Jewish supremacist "chosen one" types to pretend that a video game about Nazi magic has any semblance of historical precedence.
My only question is: if the timeline went as usual up until D-Day then how did the Germans win? If you look at the Wehrmacht in 1944 or hell 1942-43 it was a husk of its former self. The most important issue I have being their massive losses of manpower (and worse, experienced soldiers) and the huge destruction of industry that had occurred up to 1944 would mean that even if they had all this wacky sci-fi wunderwaffe wet dream tech they wouldn’t have the means to make any of it nor the people to effectively use them along with having to occupy massive swaths of land spanning continents. I feel like the major turning point in this timeline would have been the spectacular success of Barbarossa in rapidly capturing all of the major population and industrial centers of the Soviet Union before they could evacuate equipment to behind they Ural Mountains.

In order for Wolfenstein to be possible, Barbarossa would've had to be extremely fast, successful, and have minimal German casualties. This would've all had to take place before the German army uncovered ancient tech and used it to develop their army much faster and further than any other country could've dreamed of doing. Then, they would've had to have a much stronger defense on Normandy instead of being disillusioned by false intelligence that scattered their defense far and wide. It's not meant to be realistic.
