Bro. This is your best video yet. Would love to see a price and numbers video on what it would cost to put this together. Budget version and pricey version.
Thanks for the video. I'm slowly building my 2007 3rd Gen Ram 1500 Build. I'm hoping to build this truck on a budget. So far, I have got Spec'd tuning headlights, it came with 37x12 50x20 tires and Fuel Mavericks. Now I'm saving to get a rust free bed, a roll pan and a tailgate, new cab light bulbs, Rock Lights, Valance Lights. This is just for know. Thank You for the video 😊
Dude where in Colorado? I need more Diesel buddies to hang out with and kick the shit. Love the truck and the videos. Ive got a 4th gen with compounds, on stock fuel until the transmission gets built.
I saw your truck in Keystone CO, outside the Buffalo Lodge. I was really intrigued by this thing, pretty awesome to see it reliabily drove from Texas! Great looking truck man
The cam kinda shifts the power band up into the rpm a little bit, I think that helps to save my rods a bit. So the truck really starts to make power around 2300 rpm. Crazyyyy thing is that it still will make like 15psi at like 1800rpm just casually accelerating. I would only worry about your rods if you are really loading it hard down low.
It does yeah. I am at the limit though of what the stock internals can handle. The key is to keep the torque out of it. Good tuning is key! The next thing I need is a set of rods. If I wanna push the power more.
@ yes for cooling but it has the factory style arch in the pan . Fluid hits the flat back diff cover and doesn’t lubricate the gears probably. But hey your truck love it anyways !
Good stuff bro. 1300 lb/ft with 1100 hp I don't think I have seen that low of torque from a Cummins. Usually anything over 900 is getting into rod chucking territory 1600 plus torque. Must have been spinning some RPM to keep that torque out. Hope you enjoy the move, and looking forward to what you got in store.
Personally I love how the truck looks with the rim and tire setup. Plus, the truth is most trucks spend most of their time on the pavement anyway lol. But I understand it’s a look that not everyone is into. But I respect all builds.
Listen friend, i enjoyed video but some may believe reliability comes into factor but those that know better are not hearing and is just not factual. Diesels of no matter does not like RPMS for starters, and the power from a diesel comes down low. Running twins compounds whatever you want to call it these inlines won’t hold up to massive boost. Borrowed time, that’s what this is and def not an everyday build. Creative tho
I appreciate the feedback. And I agree Diesels in stock form do not like high rpm or high boost. The purpose of this video was to show how you can build a diesel to handle boost and rpm and it live for a long time. I’ve been daily driving this build for years now in all times of environments. And it has proven to be reliable for me.
@LMDiesel I found out not too long ago the ol 47re only has 140k km on it so that made my day 😂 I think the only thing left for me to swap over is my injectors and it should hopefully fun again. I wanna push big power soon but it's all so expensive. I need a tdi before I mess with this motor again 😂

Sounds like I’ll need to make another video breaking that down!
Great work on this, as always!
Appreciate that! Had to get the FASS license plate in the background! I appreciate y’all’s support over the years!
@@LMDiesel Of course!

Thank you! Good luck with your build!
Great work bro!💪🔥
Thanks 🔥I appreciate you watching man!
Love the build brother! She rips!!
I appreciate it man! Thanks for watching!

I'm down to hang! I'm in Colorado Springs.

Thanks man I appreciate it! Trucks still need to be able to do truck things lol even if they are set up more for the street.
You an your truck have inspired me with mine so its a work in progress great video
Thanks man! Mine is definitely a work in progress as well!
Just picked up my first diesel a couple of months ago. 2nd gen 24v. We're in Northern Colorado Loveland
Very cool! I’m in the Springs!
@LMDiesel Nice. We used to live off of Garden of the gods in the Springs. One of the offices I work for is in the Springs as well. 👊🏻👊🏻
My son and I finished his compound setup 06’ same setup except a single 12mm cp3 and 100% injectors 64mm and 80mm it’s rowdy
Nice! And you are correct! Super rowdy!
such a bad ass build. this inspires me to try and snag a 3rd gen. sucks that they're more money then most 4th gens.
Yeah, kinda crazy how the prices for them have gone up!
This is so sick. I have a 07 5.9 aswell. Seeing yours from down south and me being from Canada mine is a bit rusty and im so jealous of 0 rust 😂😂
I need to sand and paint the frame on mine. I’m afraid of rust lol
@@LMDiesel me too bro meeeee tooo
Curious on what rpm the boost really kicks in sometimes I worry about my bottom end with my smaller compound set up as the boost hits at a low rpm

Crazyyyy thing is that it still will make like 15psi at like 1800rpm just casually accelerating. I would only worry about your rods if you are really loading it hard down low.
If the truck was painted all gloss black it would be killer. Maybe a ram air hood as well.
Agreed! Gloss Black would go hard!
Does it have stock internals on the motor as far as the rotating assembly? If so that is impressive
It does yeah. I am at the limit though of what the stock internals can handle. The key is to keep the torque out of it. Good tuning is key! The next thing I need is a set of rods. If I wanna push the power more.
What is a price estimate for the build not counting the cost of the truck
How’s that 2nd gear band holding up? I’ve heard the solid ones like to wear funny on the intermediate drum.
It’s been holding up good so far!
yup thats my dream truck wow
Glad you like it! Thanks for watching!
Polishing is alot of work but theirs good videos on that too a lot of sand paper rouge and buffing wheels
Yeah, I’ll be watching a lot of YT videos to learn. lol
does boost auto make the steps for 3gs now? or were you gonna retrofit some?
I think they do…. They might just still be working on some.
😎👏🏼GREAT VIDEO!!
I appreciate it! Any notes?
Hey buddy didn’t you buy this truck from a place in Texas Mckenny or Lewisville ? I think I drove that truck and it had trans problems.
Picked it up in Denton. And the trans was fine at first. But went out after about a year
new sub here , look at banks power doing studies on a flat diff cover compared to the banks diff cover ,
I think the banks cover is more effective at keeping the diff cool. But I think the mag hi tech cover looks better.
@ yes for cooling but it has the factory style arch in the pan . Fluid hits the flat back diff cover and doesn’t lubricate the gears probably. But hey your truck love it anyways !

I appreciate it man! Yeah since I don’t have rods, we really had to keep the torque out of it! And yeah higher rpm definitely helps with that!
you should get rid of the mag-tech diff cover and get a banks ram air or something round you'll thank me later :)
I know the banks one is more effective. But I think the mag hi tech one looks better. Regardless I will probably change it out at some point.
What governor pressure solenoid and sensor do you have ?
Forgot to mention this, but it has a BD diesel 47re valve body. So yeah, I bd diesel governor pressure solenoid.
@ does it include the sensor to like the db kit ?
@@JoseRamos-ob8ciI think so!
1100hp should be like 2000 ft pds.
Good videos 👍
Not always, depending on turbo sizing, injectors and tuning. Since I don’t have rods I really have to keep the torque out of it for the motor to live.
@LMDiesel
My truck made 956hp/1889ft lbs
Anyway, cool truck, that dually is cool too
@@JustinSchooler-f2jnice numbers! And I appreciate it!
How much $ did you put into this build
Too much lol. Might make a video later breaking down how much everything costs.
@@LMDiesel ballpark it please 15-20k in parts?
i would paint the engine red.
Color matching everything red under the hood would be sick!
why do people like pavement princess trucks with rubber bands tires

So far cummins is the least reliable thing ive owned on stock hp. 2003 5.9 has been broken down for 6 of the 8 months I've owned it. Total junk
Sorry to hear that man! I’m not sure of the history of the truck, but it does seem like these older trucks get pretty beat up from previous owners.
