I even enjoyed Indian food in restaurants as widely located in Britain to one's in South Korea and found them excellent. To taste "home cooked" food many tour packages for foreigners coming to India have an option to include one meal at an Indian home ("ghar ka khana"). Ofcourse like "Indian Chinese" the food in China will taste something quite different.

Only muslim chicken biriyani with lots of masala. They normally give bland biriyani to foreigners because they dont like too much spices. So they dont get that aroma of spices. Biriyani is different in different regions.
When I started researching how to cook Chicken Karahi, I went down a rabbit-hole of the various versions depending on location, and ended up cooking 4 dishes instead of one just to taste the difference. I would suggest each the same goes for most well-known Pakistani/Indian/Bangladeshi/Nepalese dish - each state/village/Grandmother has their own version. It is mind-boggling how such a depth of knowledge and expertise has been handed down through generations. You could write 100 PHD dissertations on Indian cooking and only just scratch the surface.

That's quite an interesting and geogrphically wild selection of dishes. Pakora is typically North Indian. They have them down South too but they're called bhaijs. Up North, we have veg pakoras as well as chicken and fish ones. Then a biriyani, which is a originally from Pakistan but we do have them in parts of India with high populations of muslims, but it's generally considered a Pakistani/middle-eastern dish. Although muslims will usually have it with beef, so veg biriyani - and even chicken biriyani/mutton biriyani - would be more Indian. Then a tofu vindaloo which is a very Goan dish, but typically this would be meat, fish or seafood, usually mutton, chicken or a chunky type of white fish, but Goa is one of the few parts you can also get pork or beef. Saag paneer is true Panjaabi dish. You cannot get saag anywhere better than in the state of Panjaab. Saag is typically made from a combination of spinach, mustard, and fenugreek. In Panjaab, it is also commonly served with lamb, mutton, or chicken. If you like.Panjaabi cuisine, you may also like Tandoori Chicken, Butter Chicken, Butter Naan, Chicken Tikka, Amritsari Fish, Desi Bakra, Lamb Seekh Kabaab, Dal Makhni, Sarson Da Saag, Lamb Saag, Mattar Keema, Makhi Di Roti, Mattar Paneer, Anda Purzi, Channe Bhatoore, Amritsari Kulcha, Samosas, Gol Gappe, Lassi, Masala Chai, and Sugarcane Juice.
