What is the criteria for consideration? The Rockford DSR1 is a cool one. I still use a 3Sixty.3 although you can’t buy it anymore. There are loads of other DSPs by different manufacturers.
At this point, Im not even getting an amp if it doesn't have its own full DSP. Im definitely not using a DSP that isnt set up with a pc. the AudioControl one is pretty good. but then again, their amps with the same DSP built in is way better.
No point in DSPs with only 4 or 6 outputs. These reviews look like they’re a lot more about features and reviews about sound quality than actual quantifiable audio, measurements.
That's interesting.......one of the dsp's that I have in my collection of dsp's is a helix mini.....4 in 6 out. With the right speakers (audiofrog 1.5" tweeter and 6.5" midbass) fully active and a sub this combination is probably one of my favorite. Yes, I have dsp's with more channels and typically I like 3 way active front stage, however, this tweeter plays really low and this is an absolute beast system.....especially only having 5 speakers. Tuning is EVERYTHING!
The Stetsom has only 4 outputs, that means a 2 channel and sub, or 4 channel only. There's no way to do a 4 channel and sub amp separately. Why not cover the Memphis audio VIV dsp? It blows all of them away.
@@krazedougjr2578 well, here’s the thing, the answer is both yes and no. While the output can run more than one amp channel, you cut the signal down when it’s split off like that. The voltage output on the stetsom itself is rather low. Same with the prv. One of the things you want in a quality DSP is good output signal. Neither has that. What would you expect out of a DSP that can be bought new for as little as $60?
@@krazedougjr2578 If you want a quality DSP with plenty of power and something easy to use, get a Memphis VIV68DSP. Sure, they are not cheap, but they are easy to program and have plenty of output voltage.
LMAO. Somebody on Amazon wanted over $2,300 for an Audiocontrol DM-810? Also, there's no mention of JL Audio's TwK-88. Tell me you have no clue about DSP's or car audio, without telling me. Way too much effort went into editing this video with all the flashy transitions and not enough went into it as far as showing these products from their native web pages, including their suggested retail prices. I would delete this video and start over and have different price range groups, like budget, midrange, and high-end.

In my opinion is the Deaf Bonce m8 dsp. But if you like the Taramps but need more inputs, look for the NVX DSP

have either of you any experience with the new Type S Alpine subs?
What is better, DSP or equalizer???
Dsp it is an equalizer but better

Hertz seemed decent

Basically what you have done is not offer the BEST dsp's, but more of the Cheapest 4, a good one and an amp.
@heavyd2062 yk 1 channel from the dsp can run as many channels as you want using rca splitters, right?

@heavyd2062 60?
I thought they were for like 100+
So basically, a ds18 5way active crossover is better than a 4 channel dsp

It feels AI generated. A talk a lot and say nothing video.
The flea market has hit the web and it's painful
The fact you kicked off with a $100 option makes you corrupt.
Simples. :)
What a joke. No Arc Audio, Audison, Brax, or Mosconi?
@@kenfiedler1737 or Memphis. The VIV series DSP is amazing.
It makes you wonder, how could they do that
Expert Air X8 is better than these
Audio control 810 is one of the worst dsp yet
Comes with manufacturers defect plus extremly slow on updates.
