Luuuuuka!!!
“Luka started slow” All of his stats were better at the beginning of the season bc the rest of the team was so bad
This is where I stop watching the video, bro did not do his research and just throws out generalizations that the media started
A lot of them were injured.
Very well spoken this guys the MVP
Thanks for this! GREAT VIDEO!!! 🔥🔥🔥
The media feels threatened by its online competition in youtube and podcasts, and its growing community. This is their weird collective way of subconsciously lashing out. The community will be called toxic at some point I wager.
PRAVI MVP!
let's also not forget that SGA was part of the 10th seed OKC last year.. so it was actually Chet who made a difference for where they are now.
Always the underated mvp. Luka is the mj of these era.
8:22 nice that you pronounced Aguirre right :)!
if Luka didn't win the MVP this award is a joke.
Luka
You impress me with your knowledge about Luka and with your trust in him.
Of course I'm all for Luka to get the title, because he is without any doubt the rigth pearson at least this season...
Luka most doubled teamed player in the league by far if SGA would be doubled as much as Luka he would be 25 point player MAX or make 4 more assists to equal Lukas assists instead of scoring by him self and it takes away another 6-8 points from SGAs stats. Also Mavs 6 players missed most games in the league because of injuries and still managed to finish with 5o wins
8:21 lol
The Valuable :
i mean im luka and mavs fan but i have to disagree there were plenty games where kyrie played without luka and pulled of a win
(sure those wins werent anything big usually by few pts but still - last game against GSW for one)
question is, would kyrie stay in dallas if luka wasnt there ?
would he like to lead mavs or would he go else were ... like los angeles .
the way i see it nuggets would be playoff team without jokic - but more on a level of pelicans if anything
and SGA seems more valuable for OKC then Luka is for the mavs that being said .
no one expects okc to win it all ... they are to young
but mavs have a chance to pull of an upset - granted they will need a lot luck to get past nuggets
my point is expectations are way different .
mavs need a deep run . while it would be good for okc to have a deep run (and the nuggets have to win)
i havent taken sides in mvp debate cause luka is already my fav so id be bias .
The Most Dominant Player of the Year :
Thats def Luka , maybe Embiid would have a shot at it or Giannis
but Embiid barley played and Luka's stats are just insane
Embiid would have won if he qualified with 65 games played so that's a non sequitur.
16-4 if you count the two losses where they sat all their starters.
If a black player owned the stats Luka does, they would not be voting for Jokic.
Getting tired of nonsense words like smoothness being the reason he gets downvoted in the rankings. They first said he didn't win enough games, then he won enough games, then they complained about his defense, but his defense stats were way up. It's been like this the whole season, with the media and voters saying shit without context or that they noticeably haven't watched the games.
The racist nba is trying to ignore luka but he's not going away. He just goes out and owns the nba with his new and improved average team
How are the NBA racist?
@@lorcanbenjacar2452 Major NBA media is racist
Stephen A is only ludhing SGA for MVP because of his skin color. MFer was saying that Clippers would defeat the Nuggest in a series discrediting Jokic's brilliance and they all run behind narratives @@lorcanbenjacar2452
@@lorcanbenjacar2452idk I think because a black dude is in front of him in mvp race
If NBA are racist how has jokic won the last two mvps?
i'm ok with Jokic winning over Luka, but SGA? come on.. media gotta be trolling and/or racist for SGA to win over Luka.
if those 3 guys are up for trade - Luka, Jokic and SGA - would you pick SGA for your team? lmao
The only real MVP candidates are Luka and Jokic. The rest should not even get 1st ballot votes. SAS should just retire from his "analyst" con job at this point.
Nop Joker brings more value. You could say whatever you want but that is a huge gap. Luka - +/-: +319 vs Jokic +/-: +684
Luka Doncic
PPP = (2,124 + 1.2 x 647 + 1.5 x 560 + 2.5 x 162 - 282) / 2,341 ≈ 1.044
Nikola Jokic
PPP = (2,085 + 1.2 x 1,212 + 1.5 x 793 + 2.5 x 185 - 238) / 2,044 ≈ 1.143
When people just repeat what others say (especially NBA analytics dudes who have close to 0 credibility as analytics).
If we look at the top 5 players in jersey sales, we see:
1 Steph Curry, Golden State Warriors
2 LeBron James, Los Angeles Lakers
3 Jayson Tatum, Boston Celtics - chance to be one
4 Victor Wembanyama, San Antonio Spurs - that is next MVP
5 Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks
I think the MVP voting for me is not just about the numbers.. like being valuable is more than just about the numbers, yeah, Jokic might be ahead a bit of Luka interms stats (jokic basically dominates every advance metrics) , also Nuggets had a better record, but I think Jokic had better teammates overall compared to Luka, which made his work easier.. It's actually pretty close, both Jokic and Luka deserve to win.. but I think.. Luka will get his 1st MVP due to Voter Fatigue lol...
What are you talking about? I love luka and jokic. And I do believe this year MVP should be between luka and jokic (not shae...) but to say that luka had a harder road than shae or jokic... wtf first compare the thunder results last year and this year.... and now compare the nuggets evolution. That team is an evolution from a couple of years, the same that happened with giannis and the bucks. They only got lillard this year. The bucks, nuggets, thunder werent picking big players from other teams to be big, they make themselves big, same as the mavs, dont take that away from them... they arent the lakers...
luka also had to deal with injured tm8s in the first stretch of the season e.g kyrie, there were people like grant williams on the court who was absolutely terrible for the mavs, there was really no good big men apart from the rookie lively who just got to the league which meant it would take time to get him to used to the nba and work with luka, and he still managed to save the hospital mavs by putting up crazy performances day in and day out, jokic had a damn championship team which is tested and proven to be competent and theyre already more or less built around a solid core and somewhat same with the okc thunder, the mavs have had 35 different starting lineups and the most used one is the most recent lineup featuring luka kyrie pj gafford and derrick jones jr with only 16 games played, compared to nuggets most used with 48 games and and okc with 63 games played
@@azure950 ahmmm well it seems you dont understand so... mavs last year were better than okc. Okc was one of the worst teams last year and this year they are first seed. Get it? Were the mavs in the playoff last year? Was okc in the playoff last year? See the difference on the "road"? Also when did luka joined the nba? Back then were the nuggets a team of champions? Were their players popular? Their team of "nobodies" evolved and became what they are now. Same as luka and the mavs (the mavs even had porzingis when luka started). So again how is lukas road harder than ( lets pick just one team), okc?
LUKA was ROBBED for MVP !!!
